Bikepacking Around Lake Somerset, Australia - Oops!

My first short-range bike trip. I intended to make a loop from Somerset Dam to Kilcoy and back around lake somerset via dirt roads on the eastern side. Sounds good, right?
Well it isn't. I made the mistake of trusting Google maps, which said I could ride a full loop of the lake. As it turns out, the track on the eastern side is a private road leading to a private property. And I'm told that the owner has guns. Thanks google!
So rather than experiencing an epic off-road adventure, I retraced my steps and returned to my car via the highway, somewhat unfulfilled but dehydrated and totally stuffed at the same time. You live and you learn!
