Outback Roadtrip in my Jeep

Having traveled pretty far and pretty wide overseas, I thought the current COVID travel restrictions were a good excuse to finally see some of my 'own backyard' - that yard being Queensland, Australia.
As with most Aussies I know, I have rarely ventured too far from the coast. I mean, beaches are great and all but what I wanted to see was some RED DIRT, flat horizons and empty straight-line roads. So I crammed my jeep full of camping stuff, picked up my good friend and reliable companion Rob (he's the dapper Englishman) and headed west.
The route took us through Warwick, Goondiwindi, Cunnamulla, Thargominda, Nockatunga, Eromanga, Blackall, Roma and Toowoomba in a 3000km East-West loop across Southern QLD and back.
Along the way, we almost ran out of fuel (almost constantly), slept like cowboys under the stars, got lost somewhere near Hellhole Gorge and generally had quite the adventure.
