That's awesome! Good for you. That's a great way to do it! Do you know what model(s) the poulans are? My old man has a Husqvarna 455. It's a great saw.
Do you always use OEM line of something else? I got some Farmertec etc line and it seemed so hard and second rate I never used it. One of Mathew Olsen's videos he talks about buying a certain Stihl line in bulk which is way cheaper, I got some saved on eBay but didn't try it yet I also bought some clear yellow fuel line locally which was supposed to be for yard equipment (like Tygon), tried it once and it turned white and rock hard in the tank.
I use oregon brand or the black echo line. I'm pretty sure the echo stuff is the same as the stihl brand. In Husqvarna I use oem lines. The coiled ones are by far my favorite and they lay in the bottom of the tank no matter what
Have a perfectly running 460 rancher. Bought 2 old Poulan saws to to try to get running to try porting.

I use weed wacker string and loctite super glue
Nice!
Nice tip for plastics. I've used stripped copper wire but the zip tie is something I'll probably do as a field fix one day.
