Fungus fan here. The wood-rotting mushrooms usually grow in a shelf pattern. Having some separate sections that look like platforms might help :) "Pleurotus" fungi would be a good reference !

Imagine a plot line where the various license-holders decided (contrary to the agreed-upon rules) that people farming their own materials constituted "piracy" and took _enforcement action_ on their own-Doc blows up the GigaStump™, Beef exterminates Doc's shulkers, and anyone with food in their inventory gets a face-full of Cub's rockets.
Ren should be the Minister of Alternate Hermit Permits, the office is always shut, Grian is deliberately being Grian and everyone needs permit stuff sorted so I propose that all the ministers make an office and make all the permits that everyone needs or adjusted and you and Ren can be in charge (it will make him happy to have a different job 😉), it will be chaos but Grian will lose his mind and will be so funny to watch, plus Grian normally starts a resistance of some type every season so turning the tables and resisting him would be perfect 😂
Lately I've been absolutely obsessed with X's music. It's great music to put on when I'm working or doing chores around the house. It's so so good.

Honestly tho, season 4 was so good. It was great to see a new episode nearly every day just slowly chipping away at projects.

In my opiniom hermitcraft is character driven series. Of course its amazing to look at all the big projects but the interactions are the core of all of it. Dect out and hermitcraft tcg would still impresive but the interactions between hermits made this projects memorieble. Interactions are the best moments. Same for all wars, all shops and everything on the server. I love how often this season you can see hermits hanging out and enjoying this world.
I love seeig all the talent of hermits but clips don't lie we also love seeing you just goofing around
X, why not drop the skeletons FIRST and then send them up a bubble column to your killing area?

Hey X,
You can use water logged stairs ( or any other water logged block ) to shorten your water pools on your mushroom farm.
dig down 1 next to the slabs and put the stairs there. that will prevent the water from going over the dirt.
maybe you can create a slime launcher (or enderpearl launcher) to get you into the big log without the Elytra?

Ngl Xisuma, this is turning into one of my favorite seasons in a long while, the consistent hermit interactions, using horses instead of elytras, and just having a good time in general and not pressuring yourself too much. It's good to see and looking forward to the rest of the show :). (and yes I watch hermitcraft the same way someone might watch a TV series or somethin lol).
The kind of mushrooms that stick iut like shelves always look like a series of half disks. Like UFOs with the ball at the bottom and a flat half disk reaching out from the trunk. So if you arent quite happy with your tree bract fungi, that is why. Make a series of different sized half moon shelves with the bottoms tapering to the tree trunk.

I have LOVED this season with everyone getting back together and just... playing as friends. Don't get me wrong, every season has been great, but this is like a refresher and got my friend group back into playing again! I have been watching WAY more hermit's vids this season, too, which has made me appreciate the server as a whole, too!
You should make a really cheesy teeny-tiny trophy that's for most sand earned. I'm sure doc would appreciate the hilarity of it.
Wow glad to see this mega project finally start coming together also loved the last episode it was so nice to see the hermits just chatting and reminiscing about the legacy of Hermitcraft this season has had so many interactions between hermits and it’s really beautiful to see

The water in your mushroom farm could be closer to the middle if you simply have a hole next to the dirt blocks the mushrooms grow on. And I am totally going to use that design

Honestly kinda surprising to me-I find mushroom blocks extremely tedious to mine but a glory to build with, so I'd probably be Grian's biggest customer.
Just a reminder, Ren's Beacon shop sells beacons for 2 diamond blocks per piece. So pay our boy Ren the whole price please :)

Idea: Log wholesellers? You might not have the permit to sell logs, but you might be able to work out a deal with the permit owners to supply them with logs in exchange for a negotiated cut of profits?
Seeing as Doc owns almost all the log permits and has massive log farms already, not sure that’ll work lol
But they can work with the big salmon side of the log permits.

I think the roots need to be a little thicker to make it feel like they're partly holding the stump up. It's a great start!
Doc's Big Wood Shop, your Big Dig... And it's all wood related.
8:40 if you put a bottom waterlogged slab (with the water on top) where the stone is, you can shorten the water stream as much as you want (even a 2 block stream), since the water will connect with the waterlogged slab and won't flow over it.
Someone needs to line the poo-pond with grey blocks. Then hand one of those blocks to the other Hermits. That way as they are flying around, they can ask each other, "You wouldn't happen to have some grey-poo-pond?"

8:56, The best way to protect the mushrooms would be to place waterlogged blocks beside the dirt such as waterlogged stairs. The water treats the stairs as a place where the water flows down into, preventing the water from reaching the mushrooms

Yes, please mix in the spirit of the previous episode to your usual episode production. The interaction between hermits is what makes the HC Server special, its not the big builds or the crazy technical farms, its the interactions between friends that makes Hermitcraft so special. So dont ignore the special sauce, embrace it.
I left a comment over on Impulses latest video on why i feel this is 100% the best season in 5 i have watched. I really feel what i wrote over there is why Hermitcraft is so good and why specifically this season is far far superior to any others i have seen. I recommend going to check it out, it surprisingly got very good reception from Impulse and many other viewers.

Xisuma I can’t remember if you have the stone permit but, advertise “a shulker box full of stone” for a certain price in a shop or work with someone to do this. Hidden or small fine print in the shop that the stone when purchased must be dug by the hermit at loglands to collect the stone and must provide their own shulker in order to do so.
2:48 Huh, I didn't know Xisuma was a Trekkie. I watch Star Trek while doing Minecraft stuff all the time, and TNG is one of the shows I've been working on lately.
Shenanigans idea: if you're getting help for the Big Dig, or any help building Logland, could you consider all those helpers part of the project, like a co-op? And thus, could they all use the farm for 'personal' purpose? That'd throw a wrench in Big Wood's plans x)
