Thanks for the information! Just a heads up I do a lot of fermentation and if you can get a plastic strainer instead of a metal one that is better because the friendly bacteria do not like metal!
@@dreyaleigh I’d recommend watching a few full videos. You will know because it forms mold and yeast on top. Everyone I know always stirs / push down the apples daily to twice a day the first few weeks. It will start to bubble a lot after a few weeks and then you remove your fruit and strain it. That’s when you cover it ( airtight) and store it to finish fermenting. I have used many jars for experiment and you don’t want a reg mouth jar!!! If you form a little yeast you need to get your spoon in to remove it from the top. I use 2 gallon flip top jars. Also do not put metal spoons in to stir. Hope this helps some.
@@francoisdelarey1that’s a lot of work to just cut up apples, fill a jar with water, add sugar and stir every day or every other day? You’re lazy and pathetic.
I had COVID that lasted a good 10 days. I thought I was fine until I began to notice a loss of more hair than normal. Following some research, I am realizing it’s from the strain my body had during that time period and also the shampoo that I was using. So I began doing meditation, yoga everyday and changed my shampoo and conditioner to littleextraa cooconion anti hair fall kit. And now I don't face any hair fall. Thank you for this video! I'm feeling so much more at peace.
You're fermenting it, so the cold will kill some bacteria and slow down the rest. You need to keep the jars in a warm area until it's ready and bubbly.
Oh boy-- use the organic apple peel and cores it makes a better vinegar. Use the apples for eating. The scraps make the vinegar and it’s divine. You can wash the apples, but no, you’re using the natural yeast on the apples. Takes a few months s stirring once a day to prevent mold, once it stops bubbling strain, let it sit for a a another 4 weeks on the dark cupboard. Check it to make sure mold isn’t growing on it.
Yes! The ratio is kinda irrelevant if you put the ingredients in the fermentation will happen just make sure there's like still an inch of water bellow the apples.
It is a little bit weaker but I always have one going. Try a tsp on oatmeal, it's good. Also full of health benefits. I strain some off and use as a cleansing spray and refill my refrigerated Bragg jar.
I'm pretty sure that's NOT how you make cider, or vinegar. You start with apple juice, ferment it to alcoholic apple cider, then basically turn it to vinegar from there
Apple vinegar hon!!! Apple cider vinegar, you have to make apple cider, then take apple cider and make vinegar= apple( cider) vinegar!!! Their is a difference. You are welcome.
WHAAAAT !! THAT'S IT???
WOW SO EASY!!
THANK YOU FOR SHARING!!
IM GOING TO TRY THIS LATER!!
It’s an easy method but, sometimes a batch can fail or go bad. But, other than that … super easy!!
. How do you determine if it is bad? Beyond not prepping against fruit flies?

The work you gotta put in😮 thanks for sharing
The work is too much, i will rather buy organic apple cider vinegar from the store

Lazy and pathetic.
@@francoisdelarey1When the economy collapses you’ll wanna know this skillset & also have access to apples somewhere. Plant an apple tree if you can.
final results please. Thanks on advance.

Do I keep it in the fridge or outside the fridge for the initial 2 weeks before straining the liquid?
Outside
You're fermenting it, so the cold will kill some bacteria and slow down the rest. You need to keep the jars in a warm area until it's ready and bubbly.
Warm dark area looks like you are putting it in the fridge?
Dumb question and I wouldn’t do it but can you eat the apples? Are they like pickles afterwards?
Wow God Bless& Mabuhay PBbm . Hope n Pray for d Best mMabuhay ang Bogo g Pilipino at Bago g Pilipinas
What do you do when water evaporates ? Nothing ?
Sny colour apple will do ? And in winter's howling one shud keep ut in first step
I tried making this last year and had to place bowl on bottom of apple cider because water would flow out. Not sure if I did something wrong.
That happens with the fermenting process. I use a pie plate you did nothing wrong
@@JasonBarnett-YTisantiWest thank you

Helpppp, I added too much sugar, it's so sweet, then my brother suggest we add a little salt, did I ruin it?
Can you use raw sugar?
You can use any sugar. Cane sugar, maple syrup, honey, it doesn't matter. It's just to feed the yeast
Can i use it on hair and lips? pls reply🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Can this be done without the sugar?
Yes you can, i will rather add honey
Sugar ensures better end product. The sugar is eaten by the bacteria so the the vinegar is sugar free at the end.
What if we don't add sugar???
youn get very very weak vinegar.
Can we use tegular water
What type of apples are best
Why add sugar?
The yeast eats the sugar and uses that energy to populate.
Measurements ? how much apples, water, sugar?
Yes! The ratio is kinda irrelevant if you put the ingredients in the fermentation will happen just make sure there's like still an inch of water bellow the apples.
Now I know something else to do with extra apples! Thx!
An eye opener
I've done it. It takes months and doesn't seem as good as the ACV you buy.
It is a little bit weaker but I always have one going. Try a tsp on oatmeal, it's good. Also full of health benefits. I strain some off and use as a cleansing spray and refill my refrigerated Bragg jar.
Way we need to add the sugar?
For fermentation probably
What do u do w a scoby from the vinegar
Sugar?? Asking as a diabetic advised to drink ACV 😱
The microorganisms eat the sugar
ForEver PBbm na sana ang Pres. natin kc makatao makabayan at mapagpahal sa mahihirap
Wow
Try 4 months 😁
Instead of sugar i would use honey.
Or I could just purchase a bottle 😳
Bill gate and Katy perry are now partners to make the mother Apple cider 😳 do research!!
DON'T add a weight!!! Stir DAILY with a chopp stick.❤ GOOD video otherwise
Option 2 that takes a lot less effort and a few minutes:GO BUY SOME
Who has sugar anymore😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
😢

STOP WITH THE SUGAR. I make mine with just water
Lol... so what do you feed your culture bacterias in your mock vinegar sista?
