Here are 5 of my favorite Big Ideas from "Coaching The Mental Game" by H.A. Dorfman. Hope you enjoy!
Harvey Dorfman was one of the world’s leading mental training experts. Major League Baseball described him as a “pioneering sports psychologist.” He earned World Series rings as the mental skills coach for both the Oakland A’s and Florida Marlins. In this book, he covers the A to Z of mental discipline. Big Ideas we explore include Carpe momentum (seize the task at hand!), the peak performance cycle (approach + results + response), the blind men (and their elephant), and Percussus Resurgo (“Struck down. I rise again!”).

This is a great summary, thanks for taking the time to review it. All of this stuff resonates and clearly Dorfman knows his onions!

Great video Brian. Could you do a PNTV on Never Split The Difference by Chris Voss. He's a former FBI hostage negotiator who shows you the tools and tactics he uses in high stakes hostage and terrorism situations to save lives and how we can use it in business and in life. I'm half way through this book and would love to see your take on it

I really liked everything about this awesome video. Expect a teeny-tiny thing... about the donkey story. Please correct me if I miss something, but if the boy, the dad and donkey would have walked all together there wouldn't be any issue, Anyway I got the point of the story. Please keep on doing this inspiriting videos. Thank you so much for your work!

If all three were walking separately, people would ask: why neither the dad nor the son were taking advantage of an easy ride on the donkey.
