- This is the NEW Element Enduro Zuul with IFS 2 & Trailing Arms. Rock Crawlers with Independent Front Suspension are actually pretty good. Be Different!
*I made a mistake about the Utron having Trailing Arms. Sean who owns the Green custom one fitted trailing arms to it for a bit to try them out. I forgot it didn't;t come with them as standard.

I see some of the same advantage you do with IFS. The downside I see is differential ground clearance. Could potentially be solved by fitting some portal hubs to the IFS. You have a few crawlers to look into who's hub might be able to be modified to work with the IFS.

I love that the inner wheel diameter is similar to the outer. Not a fan of my SC truck wheel/tire setup.
I've never seen a paint job like that. It's really interesting. Whoever came up with that is a genius. It's cool. The more you play with it, the more rusty it gets. It's like those toys you got when you were a kid. The ones with "authentic battle damage".
If I'm not mistaken arrma did this before element with the 6s outcast stunt truck. It came in a similar baby blue and would wear into a grey color

I did a custom build about a year ago where I turned a 4-wheel independent suspension S.C. truck into a crawler with a custom 2 speed transmission.
I really like how each wheel does what it needs to without body roll and keeping a good contact patch against the surface.
With every good their is a negative to the track conditions.
Those clear wheels on the green one look so cool

Element are building some wicked crawlers. I love my enduro builders kit v2, it's my most used crawler and It's been perfectly reliable.
Interesting. I wonder if we’ll start to see any of the micro models explore that suspension setup just to change things up.

Yes, I have been waiting for this! And I will wait some more until they are available in 1/24 scale!
This has a killer look to the front end, as far as the rear end goes well, I’m still thinking about it. What’s nice about this set up is how diverse we can be with it. IFS is going to give it a nice controlled ride. That’s for sure, whether is stump jumping, mud running or desert prerunning, this set up should be ideal for many styles of off road racing. That’s not to say it doesn’t have its limitations, because IFS certainly does. To me though it’s no more scale than solid axle setups, especially when it comes to handling. Most solid axle rigs in real life handle kinda sloppy and have a less limiting factors especially on the rocks, but this set up might be the best of many worlds of off road. Hats off to team A for getting this version right! Oh and what happened to not getting it that muddy?
I like both types and will be looking for one of these wouldn't it make a cool vintage pre runner with a little regearing😊 or as a crawler

That might save me some time and effort as I was going to get myself an Ecto for the rear trailing arm set up and then fit the new IFS2 on the front.

If im making a rock racer i use ifs , ifs doesn't have a locking mechanism to crawl well, do some more homework lol. 3wd is common with ifs not anything more lol.

I agree. There are at least a 50 people in my rc group and absolutely everyone takes out the electronics and puts in brushless systems.
@@erood6190 Especially when you're talking about Element stuff. Their rigs are great, awesome gearbox, and all that, but the Reedy motors and ESCs are garbage. Would be better to just get them without those parts, cause they need to be replaced right out of the box anyway. Or, better yet, get a kit.
