I'm not done watching this yet but I hope one of the running gags is the ridiculous groups that Niles conducts with his patient. Like his multiple personality support group who he has a hell off a time filling out the name tags for.
During the first pandemic lockdown, I binged the entire Frasier series. Even though I think of it as a totally 90s show, it totally holds up to 2020. It makes no pop culture references, which keep the show relevant far beyond its intended 90s audience. Classic show.

Oh my goodness!! I LOVE THIS SHOW! Although I didn’t watch it when it ran from 1993-2004, I have recently found it and binged watched every episode in the 11 seasons! And now, I am starting them over! I can’t seem to get enough. We did watch Cheers, and have recently binged watch it also, but my favorite is definitely Frazier! The chemistry between all the main characters on Frazier is so good that you actually begin to believe they ARE the people they play in the show! IMO, it is one of the best written and acted sitcoms of the late 20th century!
The physical comedy we see from Niles (DHP) is incredible. The Valentine’s Day episode where Niles was ironing his trousers and set the couch on fire made me literally laugh so hard that I could not breathe! And not a single word of dialogue from him. That’s talent of the Lucille Ball / I Love Lucy series!
This is my absolute favorite Frasier scene. My mom and I always watched this show together and she loved this scene. Every time it aired, she was hysterical watching Niles' antics. She's been gone 17 years now, but I can still hear her laughing whenever it airs on tv. 😂😂😂😢
I love that scene too but I think my favorite scene of all time is when they take over the restaurant and Daphne’s in the kitchen and whacks the eel to kill it! 😂😂😂
I am literally obsessed with Frasier!! 😂💯it’s one of the wittiest show! I’ve ever seen favorite running gags have to be references to Maris (Niles’ 1st Wife); Frasier and Niles’ rivalry, Niles’ allergies and phobias, and Bulldog’s rants😂 I watched all of Cheers & I am obsessed with it as well. I’m kind of partial to both because to me they’re just both so hilarious, & nostalgic. I am most certainly looking forward to the Fraiser reboot
I've watched Fraiser, the full series and all episodes for the entire 11 seasons multiple times. It is by far my favorite sitcom ever. The comic genius of this show is unrivaled in my opinion. How can you go wrong pairing Shakspearian trained actors with straight comic actors? You can't. It was brilliant in every way and that cast was magic. No way to cast an actor as Maris. Leaving her a mystery was the best move on their part. I do like this better than Cheers and I've watched all of Cheers twice in my lifetime.
Jane Leeves said that Daphne possibly had a crush on Niles but because of his finer tastes and posh nature, she didn't think he'd ever consider her given her background and so she dismissed any of his flirtations as innocent. This is why she is clearly shocked when she does find out his feelings because she realizes it's actually a possibility.
@@LadyKC67 yeah they actually had an episode where she talked about how he idolized her. And fell in love with the idea of her. And she felt so much pressure to be perfect it made her eat. But also Jane at that point in time was pregnant and they prefaced her weight gain alot in the episodes before she left for the weight loss camp.
Binge watching for the second time since getting Amazon Prime Video. It still makes me laugh. I love Eddie the dog. He's such a scene stealer, especially when he's breaking Frasier's couch rule😅😅😅
I swear any time "Eddie" was in the show....doing anything...I couldn't stop laughing! (Side note: "Eddie"'s real name was Moose and as Moose got older his son, Enzo, took over the family business!)
My favourite was the group therapy sessions Niles did. One of them was he couldn’t be late for the compulsive eaters group or there’d be nothing left at the buffet table 😂😂😂
I loved the episode where Niles and Frasier are talking about a pocket knife. Their dad is getting excited to think his "boys" are having such a manly conversation. Then one of them sees that the pocket knife has a "zester" on it and both sons get very excited! And their father is SO disappointed! And they should have shown the clip where Niles comes over with his dog and everyone is trying to hint to him why he likes his dog so much. Then Frasier takse a small bowl, turns it upside down, puting it on the poor, anorexic-looking greyhound's head! Niles is so shock when he realizes his dog looks like Maris!!
If it hasn't already been done, a list of the Top 10 of the opening sequences. I would nominate the one where Niles is alone in Frasier's apartment, and he needs to iron his pants.
I was going through the comments thinking isn't anyone thinking about the episode of Niles ironing his pants and yeah, you did. I think I ended up missing most of that episode because every time I stopped laughing I would visualize it and start laughing uproariously all over again!

I'm currently binge-watching Frasier for the 3rd time now. The dialogue was smart and interactions between the different cast members were wonderful. Favourite episodes include the ski lodge, when they bought a restaurant and the spa day.
I cracked up when Roz and Frasier and Niles were having coffee and Niles said something about her jacket. She replied that she didn't shop at the SAME stores as Maris the Heiress did! Niles even said she got in a good one and laughed!
I would just like to mention David Angell who was a writer/producer for Cheers and Frasier. Him and his wife were on American Airlines flight 11 on 9/11.
I’m so happy! I love that you covered Frasier in your top 10 list! This is one of my favorite shows ever. Thanks so much! (Next list should be Top Ten Frasier Love Interests)
One of the best scenes in the show what Martin's monologue about his chair and how many memories it carries. I wish you mentioned the one time Frasier set it on fire and throw it off the balcony. Frasier and Niles saying they'll have sherry for a change is like Norm Peterson saying beet is a good change. No one can play Maris. She had so much work done, she is more synthetic than human. Maybe she could be animated.
As far as I am concerned, Frasier is the best TV show in the history of television. After seeing it countless times, I still laugh at all the jokes, and I can recite most of the episodes by heart. My favorite is "Moon Dance." I loved the show so much I named my Maine Coon cats Niles and Daphne. My cousin named her dog Frasier. If the reboot is half as good as the original, it will be well worth watching.

One episode from the first season, Frasier Crane's Day Off, was interesting. That's when Frasier was sick with the flu, and chaos ensues during his illness both at home and at KACL while Niles is filling in for him on his show.

You guys forgot Lilith! The running gag of jokes whenever she comes to town
"Oh they know you."
Eddie and Frasier was one of my favorites. I absolutely loved Frasier, I probably watched 5 or less episodes of Cheers (I found the humor too mean).
Maris is the Frasier version of Norm's wife, Mavis, from Cheers.
Norm's wife's name was actually Vera.
I loved Frasier Show
Thanks for the video
