I installed these a week ago in my g37s and they are so quiet and makes my ride really smooth. I don't know how long will they last but it was a good purchase.
@redjeans28 my rear tires of this exact tire lasted over 35,000 miles. The front ones are approaching 50,000 miles. I only occasionally drive fast through turns though.
I have prepared rims alu r15 and these su1 Nexen tires 195/45/15 on my little VW Polo 1.0 37kW 😂😂😂 do u think it will be overkill?😂 on Friday im getting them on car😀
How are these tires? I’ve been looking at them for my daily/autocross truck and from what I’ve seen on their website they’re a pretty decent performance tire but also good to daily drive, is this correct?
Dylan Myers Thank you for the support! Good choice and I’m glad you’re enjoying it! Wwb was always my favorite Subaru paint color! And ya tinting the head lights a tab bit would look good. It’s all personal preference but I do like them tinted but not too dark!
Yernous the wider the wheel base the better the performance. He isn’t running adjustable camber arms so he isn’t going for complete stance just yet. the spacers are simply to help the wheels meet the fenders. no harm to performance
The tire shop who installed your tires doesn’t know how to install tires correctly. The red dot indicates that it should be in line to your valve stem.
I’ve had these tires for a week. I’m on stage 2 with e85 for my frs. I’m not sure why but I can’t seem to keep traction with these tires. I’m always spinning out when I do digs against friends or 40 rolls. Funny thing is, I didn’t have this problem with the stock tires and rims. Right now I’m on 18x9.5 rims wrapped with these same exact tires in 245/35/18. Not sure why I’m not sticking to the ground. Any explanations?
kg the great one I agree they do look good! I’m just gonna lower the front and back about 1 inch and I think I’ll be all set! I might need rear Lower control arms as well but those no rush for that!
But your previous tires were corded because they looked like you had massive camber issue or alignment issue. They were worn down to the core on that side, the other side had so much more tread. So thats more your fault not the tires fault.... Sorry but correct me if im wrong
@@AaronRobinProductions Need your help since you mentioned tires run small. Do you have any suggestions? I am about to buy a 245/30 for a 10.5 wide and 275/30 for a 12 wide.
Weird to hear you say this brand of tire was pretty popular. Never heard of them myself, and at first I thought they were a knockoff Chinese brand. I kind of like the look of the smaller tire on your car as it sits now, so I'd vote for keeping it as-is. Don't know if going to a larger tire size would look as good. The only thing that would concern me is how much the tire is stretching on that wheel - does that degrade the tire at all?
Geese1 Ya Nexen is really popular with motor sports especially Formula Drift. definitely make quality tires. The last 2 days have been awesome driving with them. Really did make a huge difference! Best tires I’ve had so far on my BRZ. I went from a 255/35 to a 245/35 so the sizing wasn’t a huge change. Just looks looks like it because I had my Fortune Auto Coilovers set up precise for the 255 tires. The fitment with my old tires was my ideal set up but the new tires do look good as well. Just a different look. I’ll probably just drop my car an inch all the way around and it should be close to what it was before! And with the 245s it looks like I don’t need my mud flaps but I’ll have to test it out for a day without them. And the stretch isn’t too aggressive so there shouldn’t be any problem. Just a tiny bit more stretch then before!
These tires won't last if you're running 45 psi cold. When they heat up I bet they're over 50! Lower the pressure to 33psi cold if you want them to last until your winter tire swap yo!
congrats on your subs! Future reference, I know its about your tires but if you watch your video, almost throughout you said the same thing over and over and over again.
JNC I agree I should paint them! Probably not red tho but maybe just black to make it look clean! Because my stock calipers are looking old. I was talking about this with my cousin and he painted his calipers black and it’s very subtle and looks very good!
don't blame the tires......you went 6months without rotating them........stretching tires isn't good I did it with my is300 a few times shoulda gone with 45's
Shawn Stover I had those those tires on since the the end of February because that’s when I swapped out my snow tires so it was only about 3-4 months not 6 months. Rotations were done. All documented on the channel. I have been driving the BRZ almost everyday for the past few months and not my daily but the tires still shouldn’t of wore down that fast. Those BG Goodrich tires had less than 10,000 miles on them.
Hi brother, I'm thinking of buy these for my 3000gt vr4 .how were they in the long run .what is the full name of these tyres...cheers. and how were they I the rain. Give me a like so i know you have responded because i can't get any messages.. as far as modding your car put a 2.5 sti engine and gearbox in it.
Szymon Szczypta I think that’s what I’m going to do. Stick with the 245 tires I have and just lower the front and back 1 inch and it should have a good stance!
I have these tires and they are the best overall tires I've ever had.
Yeah I bought a pair last week for the front of my car and thought they'd be shit but they seem to handle really well so far in wet and dry.
Nexen is just a great brand of tires.
I installed these a week ago in my g37s and they are so quiet and makes my ride really smooth. I don't know how long will they last but it was a good purchase.
You still using them bro?
What's the load index on these? 85 or 89?
@redjeans28 my rear tires of this exact tire lasted over 35,000 miles. The front ones are approaching 50,000 miles. I only occasionally drive fast through turns though.
Are these tires comfortable for everyday use?
so how is your nexen tires? are they still good?
Did they do tracking when u got them tyres fitted?
I have prepared rims alu r15 and these su1 Nexen tires 195/45/15 on my little VW Polo 1.0 37kW 😂😂😂 do u think it will be overkill?😂 on Friday im getting them on car😀
I love your videos. They feel very personal and involving. Keep up the great work and thank you for the dedication. CONGRATS ON 5k!!!!
Eli Sanchez Thank you! That’s really awesome and I appreciate it!!
How are these tires? I’ve been looking at them for my daily/autocross truck and from what I’ve seen on their website they’re a pretty decent performance tire but also good to daily drive, is this correct?
Lowering the car knocking the alignment out even farther good bye inside tires👍
sticking to stock setting is always the best
Looking at these and the nitto neo gen die do the fact only 3 brands including these ones are the only ones that carry my tire size of 235/30/22 lol
Dope tires bro still have to get my tires just bought the rims for mine
Jesus Aguirre Thank you! It’s exciting getting new wheels and tires! It makes the car look good as well as gives good performance!
What size is your wheels 18x??
Don’t think it was the old tires being shitty it’s more your setup than anything.
Hey man, love your videos, I recently got a 2015 world rally blue BRZ, absolutley love the car. Would you consider blacking out the headlights? Cheers
Dylan Myers Thank you for the support! Good choice and I’m glad you’re enjoying it! Wwb was always my favorite Subaru paint color! And ya tinting the head lights a tab bit would look good. It’s all personal preference but I do like them tinted but not too dark!
I recommend like a 10 mm spacer for you man would help your figment out with those wheels. Just play around maybe also try a 5
Alex LaFreniere Yes that’s a good idea! 5s all around should be perfect!
Aaron Robin Productions For performance you want it flush or a bit in not poked out which is more for appearance and stance
Yernous the wider the wheel base the better the performance. He isn’t running adjustable camber arms so he isn’t going for complete stance just yet. the spacers are simply to help the wheels meet the fenders. no harm to performance
Alex LaFreniere I said flush just not poke lmao
Why 45 psi? I have 225/40/zr18 and I run them at 32 cold
For the tires and suspension work just depends on your future mods. Such as you going turbo. Tires are the first mod needed on this platform.
Got these fitted on my FK8 now wish me luck
The tire shop who installed your tires doesn’t know how to install tires correctly. The red dot indicates that it should be in line to your valve stem.
If you would’ve gotten an alignment after the new BFGs were put on you wouldn’t have had that tire wear like that.
What kind of tires were they going to look them up for my FR-S
kg the great one They are Nexen N’Fera SU1
Aaron Robin Productions thank you

I think 245s are perfect

Tracking defo out
what's the width of your wheels?

@@John-co2yz I'm no expert but that seems like a massive stretch. I have 10.5 on my back and I run 275 35 19.

First part of the video the "new tires on MY BRZ" already broke down. 😂
These tires won't last if you're running 45 psi cold. When they heat up I bet they're over 50! Lower the pressure to 33psi cold if you want them to last until your winter tire swap yo!
I was just saying too why 45 cause I run mine at 32 cold lmao
dont think brz can ever lose traction with that tiny engine on whatever tire you go with though
congrats on your subs! Future reference, I know its about your tires but if you watch your video, almost throughout you said the same thing over and over and over again.
Lol first tires were worn out on one side because alignment wasn't ok. Nothing wrong with tires.
Should paint your brake calipers red! Would make the car come together especially with your mud flaps being red.
uh no ..too rice sir
njskater360 eh I mean I think it would come together nicely better then the silver looking caliper or atleast just black calipers.
or upgrade the brakes and not paint the calipers
JNC I agree I should paint them! Probably not red tho but maybe just black to make it look clean! Because my stock calipers are looking old. I was talking about this with my cousin and he painted his calipers black and it’s very subtle and looks very good!
njskater360 well yeah but brake upgrades are pretty expensive so a cheaper alternative is just pairing them in the meantime
don't blame the tires......you went 6months without rotating them........stretching tires isn't good I did it with my is300 a few times shoulda gone with 45's

Anyone try the new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S?
buddy they expensive asf
how can you say is the best if you never test it? .........so lol
As in tires in general are the best performance mod for any car.
Your BFgoodrich tires weren’t even new. Lol.
Nhan Nguyen Not true. I replaced the rear tires before mounting them and the fronts were good.
Lower the car.
Szymon Szczypta I think that’s what I’m going to do. Stick with the 245 tires I have and just lower the front and back 1 inch and it should have a good stance!
Aaron Robin Productions do you think the car wont rub when you take turns being lower, or would you have to adjust camber to correct that?
