It used to be accessible, but I believe the doorway was bricked up permanently in 1982 due to vandalism and decay.

Sorry for being thick but I still don't know whats on the top. Couldn't really see. I was hoping you'd land on it. Looks like some rusty metal grille. Is it hollow all the way to the bottom? What's all that stuff on the top? Trash? How did it get there?
