"HEXplore It is a hero building adventure board game. Enter a realm teeming with fantasy creatures, heroes and villains.
Select your hero by combining two character options: your Role and Race. Your Role is your profession and your Race is your heritage and species. This combination drives your Hero's strengths, weaknesses and defines their special abilities. You'll use dry erase markers to keep track of your hero's strength.
Travel across the map earning power ups by completing quests and battling opponents of several different types. Move carefully to avoid multiple dangers and travel from city to city, visiting shrines and ruins along the way.
Gain power quickly, for the Dead King also moves... He takes away your cities as you play the game. For each city he destroys, he gains more power.
The object of HEXplore It is to power up your heroes as quickly as possible, to eventually defeat the Dead King himself. The game is won if you confront and defeat him, bringing light back to the Valley."

Adam, cautious movement on roads and rivers, where you stay on the feature allow you to now move 4 hexes - I think that's what it is. Two hexes is across open country, or mixed country/road.river.

12:50 You didn't have to roll the navigate check here. Even though you used your normal movement value, since the entirety of the movement was along a river, the movement is considered cautious.
Really enjoying the playthrough, can't wait to see what happens next!

Great question! I lean more towards HEXplore It. My fav of the series of them is Mirza Noctis.
i have officially started my marathon version of this game. I have did a few quest and am going to fight the first boss after work tomorrow. I am using 3 characters and am changing the difficulty level after every 2 bosses.

Good stuff! I don't know if you noticed or not, but on the quest cards if you look at the tile shape (A, B, C, D) the area, where you put the quest marker, is shaded in. So at a glance, you can kind of see where to put the marker on the map. Did that make sense?
Hey Daniel! That's correct, each tile has the letter marking on it and the quest cards also have a letter to let you know which tile the hex shown is from. Just a matter of matching them up! Thanks for watching and the support!
I think the Guardian should have 5 food after your correction as she gained 2 food back from the fight with the Bandits

You forgot to add +5 and +5 to the Health of the Kobolds and the Bonus +1 Damage.

No he didn't. He's playting on easy, so there isn't any addition. The additional 5 points that he added on the previous battle were because that monster was rated a level higher than the game was being played at.

your chances of 2 successes still seem very low how far to the first boss, that level 4 encounter as a summon should help a lot

Hi, sorry yes I'm not sure what happens if you don't get the rolls you need can you build them up over time, do you fail if you don't roll them both. I'm thinking if you want to do that quest a luck stone might have been better than 1 set of rations
You can't build them up. Those skill checks are necessary based on your movement choices. A luck stone would certainly be something I'd like to get more of. I'll probably grab a few more in the future. They seem VERY useful! Thanks for watching Stefan!
