Let me start by saying, I am trying to decide if I need to unfollow you or move to your city and camp outside your homes. I am a 70 year old mother, grandmother, elementary school cook, and now a Pirate & Robin ADDICT, thanks to YOU CAROLINE!!! After watching this episode and being introduced to Pirate & Robin floss through Caroline and then seeing Elizabeth's face and her comment on Bog Witch, I bolted over to their website and purchased NINETEEN SKEINS of floss. GIRLS!!!!!! this purchase is all your fault. As far as the two of you, you are darling. I have watched all your flosstube episodes, some more than once. I love your choice of patterns and your style. You two are amazing! I just finished my last day of work until the end of July and laughing with you both was a great way to celebrate 6 weeks off to get some major stitching progress in!! I think you’re right about the demographics on flosstubers. I wish I’d had Flosstube when my daughter was younger. She just graduated from HS. I did get peanut butter on the quilts I would baste on the floor to prep for quilting, though! Love seeing all the variety of your projects. 🍄

I don't know if Aimee should be included in this, but you two stars of the screen get into the! biggest! pickles! I love it. Well, not the problems, but your unique solutions to them. Fantastic. Also, I think you're onto something with the gap of stitchers that are parents of small-ish kids. I have three boys who are 11, 8, and 2. The non-toddlers have both tried cross stitch, knitting, and diamond painting. None of them stuck, but at least they wanted to give them a shot!
They will definitely keep that knowledge for a lifetime though! I learned as a kid and am now just picking it up again, just like riding a bike! -C

I've enjoyed every episode and look forward to the next. You two are always so much fun and bring such great energy and positivity to our stitching time at home. Love the floss haul! I have only just started experimenting with fancy floss for the first time on my Forest Fairytale SAL, and loving how it looks! And what an intriguing idea to embroidery the journal. I shall keep my eye out for such an opportunity, and it sounds fun. And how heartbreaking to both have to frog so much, and to tear holes in your fabric! And thank you for the kind shoutout to our channel (Uplift Stitches). I am glad we brought you some comfort during such a difficult trial. I have had my own share of hardships recently when I realized, in a similar vein, that I had cut the fabric too small for my Hobbit Adventure SAL, forcing me to start all over again. But you did such amazing work mending that fabric. If I ever run into the issue of tearing my fabric, I may be seeking your wisdom. Masterful job on that! Looking forward to the next visit with you two.

Loving your hilarious flosstube! I’m a newish cross stitcher, and one of the things that drew me in was that I could stitch anywhere. Now it’s what I do while waiting around during my kiddo’s various activities. 🍄
Yes! I cheated on cross stitching with knitting for years, but the second one of my kids figured out how much fun it is to pull out knitting needles and frog I went straight back!

It really does seem like there is a gap of stitchers in their 30s-ish. My kids are a little younger, so I mostly get my stitching time in late after they go to bed, but boy is my 3 year old invested in all my projects. 🍄

Caroline, I am planning on stitching the Widow Frog on a fabric similar to yours and my question is: are you going to stitch the areas that are "blank" in black? I did not realize that some areas were not stitched and now I am questioning my fabric choice but there is no way I am stitching in black fabric. Nope. I love my eyesight too much. Thanks!!
