"Which of these ships did I mean to rename..." *sees Backeye* "We have the Blackeye, the Yars..." *proceeds to just call it the Backeye for the rest of the video*
The Blackeye has a 180mm hole where the metal "l" used to be on the side of the ship. They tried to patch it, the mechanic welded a sheet of metal and painted the "l" again, but it got shot out again, so now it's the "B ackeye". But since the crew like the irony they just kept it
Your playthrough remains significantly entertaining, even in the consolidation phases like this one. Taking your time and carefully making notes is definitely a practice we can all emulate.
One decent upgrade I found for the skylarks, while a bit expensive… Put some palash on the corner piece right above the landing gear facing up and to the side. It’s saved my skylarks from bombs multiple times. I’ve got a skylark build with a 57MM above the fuel tanks for CIWS, but it doesn’t pay off that often so I won’t bother explaining how it’s built
You honestly deserve all the attention you get and and much more, Phrosphor. I'm honestly loving your playthrough despite all the little mistakes (which imo make the series more thrilling sometimes).
Thank you so much! I am making a lot of mistakes and I am really paranoid about people hating the videos because of it. The positive encouragement really helps.
@@Phrosphor no problem man. Nobody is perfect and anyone can make these sorts of mistakes, especially when under the pressure that this game puts you through sometimes.
Very! The tension makes me make mistakes, it's hard even with an effort to slow things down. The garrisons are getting really tough and the 1.13 changes have made fights a lot deadlier.
That fuel bug seema to have been introduced in 1.13, happened to me a few nights ago. I hope they sort quickly since it makes you feel like you cheated the game.
love how you spent 10 mins makeing all them line and everything for you too take it all down in the next 10 mins lmao. loving the show! are you planning to do a other run soon?!?!?!?!
Damn watching thus playthrough has beeb amazing so far ! But is it actually that fun to play ? I mean it is awesome to watch but it seems some procedures get repetitive over the time for the player ! Anyway great content dude !
Combat is exhilarating, it really is a lot of fun. The strategic map is long stretches of mundane gameplay interspersed with intense, sweaty, fearful gameplay as you get detected and dodge incoming missiles and planes or spring an ambush on a strike group. It remind me of the thrill level of getting your first Battle Royal win.
Anyone have a simple rule for when player right clicks vs left clicks ordering ships? Right now for me I need the Highfleet Rosetta stone of mouse buttons while on the map

lol Part of me wonders if I typoed and forgot the L because.. like.. I do that a lot.. And the other part is like "oh well, it is sort of my name"
Just checked my notes and it clearly says bLackeye. Not sure what is wrong with me..
@@Phrosphor I'm in favor of leaving it as is, it's fairly amusing.

"potential lightning pilot in training." made me chuckle.
The game fluff states that new graduates get assigned to Lightning's. I feel like it's actually the expert pilots that get them.

Just need to stay calm when the fur starts flying, that's the real skill.

One thing I love about the SkyLark is it is great out of the box. You can do a lot to upgrade it, but it is also just super great with no changes.
I came from Tortouga's page, but YOUR playthrough convinced me to buy the game.
Great stuff!
in before your lightning strike pulls the Strike Group out from Borchin and gets time to fully repair because the alarm is still raised for 2 hours.

The Wiffle Bat! YaY!
May it bop your enemies!
I'm pretty sure you have the elint component in your inventory.
I think you are right, it's with the Sevestapol group.

Honestly felt really bad when it happened, but I can't even dump the fuel :( At least it was just one skylark and not the Sevestapol Strategic Group.

Thanks for using the name (and no evil plan intended).
I was going to request the *Molotov Stroganoff* but I don't think that would fit! 😃
I was sure it was an evil test! Sadly I GMd too many games of DND to trip over that word!
I never actually played game, only watched it - what does "kindness" and "fear" perks do?
It's mostly related to how Tarkhans you are trying to recruit perceive you. I believe it affects some of the ending stuff as well.

You can pause game while intercept radio transmission for anyone reading and watching

It always gets me. :(
It's always right click, except when splitting up fleets.
Thank you, I will use that rule!
I love the fact you made up for nuking a city by saying you didn’t boil someone alive.

Second!
