      Earl is legit batshit. Like, if you just sat down and had a conversation with him and didn’t have any cameras rolling, you would have a very hard time keeping a straight face.
      He’s also always had that zero self awareness thing going. Between that and the way he just blurts out random politically incorrect sentences, I’ve always suspected he was about mid spectrum.
      Edit: along with the way he took to pool like a savant. He got really good as a teenager, not very long after picking the game up. By about 17 he could handle anyone on Earth not named Efren Reyes. Or Cesar Morales.

      Maybe so, but don't think for a minute that Efren doesn't have dirt under his finger nails.
      Heh heh I got lucky....that's Efren's way of being humble but he knows it fucks with you as well when he says it. So there is a convenient element there that still says he's full of shit and not humble to a true high level.
      But it's competition, so whatever happens or said, doesn't mean shit. If someone has got a problem, it's their own problem, go cry to momma then.
      Earl is not a worse human being by far. He's a very honest guy in the strictest sense, more than Efren I guarantee that because I know.
      Just like Varner is always labeled when mentioned, a really really nice guy.....bull fkn shit. Not to that disgusting level where it's always mentioned like Nick owns the title rights. It makes me fuckn sick. He's not a bad guy by any means in general, but he's no nice guy to that level, no way in fkn hell. I got personal stories of experience. I like him, but let's keep it real.
      Earl is not a bad guy, he's just out of line. He's also been or gas been a chronic pot smoker. He's been poor, then rich on top of the world and then broke and living in his car, and basically nobody or anything to step in and place him back up on his established merit. Not that anyone should get more than they deserve, especially when shooting themselves in the foot, but the guy certainly never got what he truly deserved either. The guy has 9 major world titles. He's a legend.
      John Daly the golfer didn't do near as much, really fucked his life off like a moron because he had plenty of money, they make a show about the idiot who fell over and over and over and the guy basically gets endless chances and life is still good for him financially.
      Earl was a millionaire once barely, life turned on him, he shot himself in the foot also, wife divorced him, perfect storm, still his fault though, but broke in the blink of an eye because he really didn't have big money, nothing like John Daly, and the rest is history.
      Earl barely got a true shot in life for the level of what he gave back.
      Still no excuse, got what he deserves imo, but when compared to other similar shit, I would say he's been fucked.
      It's fine to be punished. This is a must. But when there is inequality in it, then there is injustice.
      It's a injustice for that bitch to interview him like that. Pool is fkn brutal at any level and more and more at their level. There is nothing clown show about it if they walk a mile in their shoes.
      Earl went a step further and said he doesn't even want to be there. He's right. He knew he sold out to a cocksuckr who is in a federal prison now with a rap sheet a mile long.
      Earl is not a bad guy, he's just a idiot. There's a difference. He's stupid, but at the same time, he's a gladiator who shouldn't have to struggle with everything. He has to beat the world, be a ambassador, be a financier, diplomatic, by his own food, wash his own clothes, carry his own equipment, he has to do everything as if beating the world ain't enough?
      Efren has a private mafia like type corporation backing him up always. He's bought and paid for, but no worries. Every where he goes, everything is basically tooken care of.
      Not saying privledged over Earl, just saying, many only see the front cover.

    For those wondering, and I've been following pool for decades, this is simply who he is, it's his personality, he's just being himself embracing being the villain, unfortunately he is also his worst enemy, this attitude lost him the Color of Money and a 17 rack lead to Efren in a race to 120.

      Women's events were created specifically for that reason though, to act as a bridge to encourage women into a men's sport. It's specifically meant to give women an advantage so that they can catch up. Fairness doesn't work when one side is already way ahead.
      I'll give you an analogy. Let's say you have two sides playing tug of war. The rope is currently not in the center, but is half way towards the men's side. Now if things were fair, that means both sides are pulling equally, the rope will stay in the same spot, half way towards the men's side. The only way to pull it back the other way is to give the losing side a catch up mechanism.

    • @dhirajpallin2572
      @dhirajpallin2572 4 роки тому +1

      @Tanya Rodriguez You misunderstand what I meant by 'men's sport'. It's male dominated. Many many more male players than female.

    • @dhirajpallin2572
      @dhirajpallin2572 4 роки тому

      @Tanya Rodriguez The inequality is not from the game itself or the environment. It's a product of history, where women were not encouraged into such games, and therefore don't have as many female role models to encourage them into it from a young age. The tug of war analogy is not a game, it's a metaphor for the state of the world.
      The women's division allows female players to gain sponsorship and prize money and makes pool into a respectable career so that they can inspire the next generation of women, who will be greater in number and skill and so on and so forth. It's about getting the numbers up.
      If there were an equal number of men and women taking up pool seriously from a young age, there would be no need for a seperate men's and women's division.

      @@dhirajpallin2572 Catch up? No offense, but the top professional women can't hold a candle to professional male players. And I'm talking about now, in 2020. There are a lot of great players, but it's not even close. I mean, the break difference alone is a tremendous issue. You might as well say the WNBA was created as a bridge for women to play in the NBA. Ever seen Mike Sigel vs Loree Jon Jones IPT 2005 8 Ball? He wasn't exactly a spring chicken in his early 50s....vs the top women's pro player....she got destroyed.

      And, in Professional Wrestling, such behavior is an act.
