Efren and Vivian are friends, they even played doubles in tournaments together a couple times. The “Tornado” is definitely one the best female players of all time but of course … that’s the goat she’s playing.
I played Efren in Angeles City Pampanga once, race to 9, i only potted a 2 3 and a 4 in rack 3, missed the 5 and from there it went to 9-0. He missed another couple of times but i couldn't capitalize on that, but i had the honor to play against the greatest pool player that ever picked up a pool cue. Unfortunately this was before the era of smartphones, i would have framed that image and placed it next to the pics of my family.

In some ways because Efren Reyes as you can see is very old in appearance, and most players in this age are not gonna perform as expected, so players sometimes think in their mind that Efren maybe the greatest, they think his age is gonna have a factor in his performance but they were wrong as Efren Reyes performs like he is just 30 years old oftentimes beating young players in their prime
I am a Filipino, I love Efren so much, and he is undoubtedly on the pinnacle of best pool players in the world, however I do agree the thumbnail is irrelevant. We can see how humble his opponent was. She paid so much respect to Efren.
Efren is the greatest of all time IMO and I am 75 years old and have watched a lot of pool played around the world. Also, he is the most likable and exciting.

I played Vivian in Waterform Michigan when women's Billards was hot on ESPN and this was one stop on the tour. While the main table was the only official game, the players played attendees on the other tables so they could keep warmed up between matched. I asked Vivian to play. She broke and ran the Table for the first game. In the second, I did the same and she repeated for the third game. She shook my hand, told me I am a good player and then she went on to her match. This was nearly 30 years ago, and still one of my best memories.

Vivian is a great pool player I've watched her over the years. Efren is a master pool player usually teaching everyone he plays. It's good to watch him again .

We do this all the time in our pool club. It's conceding defeat, and denying your opponent the chance to embarrass you with the last shot, especially if it's an obvious, easy shot
