I'm inclined to believe that Efren purposely missed the 9-ball in the 4th rack to give Vivian the chance to score her first point. That was such an easy shot. Such a gracious gentleman!
Why is every thumbnail in this channel made it look like everybody is looking down on Efren? I know for a fact that most of the pool players especially the pros respect Efren very much and even considered him as the goat
In some ways because Efren Reyes as you can see is very old in appearance, and most players in this age are not gonna perform as expected, so players sometimes think in their mind that Efren maybe the greatest, they think his age is gonna have a factor in his performance but they were wrong as Efren Reyes performs like he is just 30 years old oftentimes beating young players in their prime
I am a Filipino, I love Efren so much, and he is undoubtedly on the pinnacle of best pool players in the world, however I do agree the thumbnail is irrelevant. We can see how humble his opponent was. She paid so much respect to Efren.
Efren and Vivian are friends, they even played doubles in tournaments together a couple times. The “Tornado” is definitely one the best female players of all time but of course … that’s the goat she’s playing.
Efren is the greatest of all time IMO and I am 75 years old and have watched a lot of pool played around the world. Also, he is the most likable and exciting.

I played Efren in Angeles City Pampanga once, race to 9, i only potted a 2 3 and a 4 in rack 3, missed the 5 and from there it went to 9-0. He missed another couple of times but i couldn't capitalize on that, but i had the honor to play against the greatest pool player that ever picked up a pool cue. Unfortunately this was before the era of smartphones, i would have framed that image and placed it next to the pics of my family.

I played Vivian in Waterform Michigan when women's Billards was hot on ESPN and this was one stop on the tour. While the main table was the only official game, the players played attendees on the other tables so they could keep warmed up between matched. I asked Vivian to play. She broke and ran the Table for the first game. In the second, I did the same and she repeated for the third game. She shook my hand, told me I am a good player and then she went on to her match. This was nearly 30 years ago, and still one of my best memories.
My mom is a fan of Efren. I heard his name a lot in my country but never really saw him play, now Im a fan too😁 the legend😊 Thank you Efren for bringing pride to the Philippines! We filipinos are proud of you!
I don't know about that....I think she has bit of too much EGO for her own good. Since she is a woman, she carries a chip on her shoulders and when playing against any man, I am sure she carries that EGO with her.
Because men are too afraid to lose. In olympic shooting men and women competed together, but after woman won, it was right away stopped and different competitions for men and women. It was skeet if I don't remember wrong.
