    Nobody mentioned it here, but you can indeed take that style of AN fittings apart and re-use them. Just reverse the assembly and put them back together.

    I have used all kinds of steel braided line and would recommend PTFE Aeroquip lines next time. It is a teflon line so no fuel smell and resistant to additives. Just did it on my old mustang and will be doing it on my bronco. The best part is it is way easier to hook up the fittings than the rubber steel braided lines. This is a more expensive way to go but worth it. Great job on the build!

    Wiring the pump earth return is a good idea, but a better idea is to ground it also.

    Fuel injection hose with OE style connectors much easier and cheaper.

    John, love the videos man. Been building a bronco and watching your stuff daily! Quick question here, why the need or reason to use 2 different line sizes? 6 and 8? Why not use 6 the entire way and return? Thanks!

    @NashvilleEarlyBronco hey there! I bought a sniper EFI system for my bronco & im currently planning everything out before I do the install. I was wondering did you upgrade to an intank fuel pump when you got your pro flo 4 or did you still run an inline fuel pump? I’m debating on what type of pump to run in my bronk. My bronco has the 23 gallon tank but it’s not an EFI model just the sending unit only. any help would much be appreciated thank you for the awesome vids you make for us!

    Question, I have the five tech 600 hp lol everything is brand new my engine is brand new complete rebuild from top to bottom. I haven’t even got it out of the garage yet. I got about four hours of idling time on it and I just lost fuel pump pressure, so it won’t run now. Any ideas as to why everything is brand new fuel pump everything and I can’t get any pressure out of it won’t go over 5 pounds. Fuel tank ..is brand. New fuel filters are brand new. Everything is brand spanking new.

    thanks for those high quality clear to understand videos.I have a question about the Fitech inline fuel pump.It does not mention anywhere the PSI rating of the pump.my engine swap will be from 1996 Explorer 5.0 maintaining everything like factory. which means I will need at least 45 psi at the fuel rail.so will this Fitech be enough, I wonder...other option is Walbro external GSL series fuel pump.thanks

    • @NashvilleEarlyBronco
      @NashvilleEarlyBronco  6 років тому

      I think the fitech pump is actually over 55 psi but I forget the number

    Did you not use a second screw for the bottom half of the fuel pump bracket? Did you do anything else, or just left it hanging?

    • @NashvilleEarlyBronco
      @NashvilleEarlyBronco  3 роки тому +1

      I ended up getting a different bracket. I basically used a muffler hanger

    Any reason for running a 100 micron fuel filter then a 30 micron filter, would it not it be possible just to run the 30 micron filter (assuming I'm running an intank fuel pump with factory filter already)!

    I'm using my stock tank as well for this install. Thanks

      +PuppyLover838 MintyFox there are two smaller vent lines on the same side as the main filler neck. The two vent lines are probably going to that plastic bottle behind your drivers seat

      I removed the auxiliary tank because of the need for running two returns lines. I think I’ll be installing a 23 gallon tank soon because the stock tank is just too small

    • @NashvilleEarlyBronco

      +JONQUELL MAYES no regulator. The fitech regulates the fuel pressure from the fuel pump

    Are u using the stock gas tank and pickup I'm putting this in an 89 f150 that I built the motor in it's a 350 hp 308 but the truck was originally fuel injected so I have an in line pump and one in tank I replaced the stock inline pump with the one in the Fitech kit but not sure about the one in tank if it's just a pick up or it actually pushes the fuel

    • @NashvilleEarlyBronco
      @NashvilleEarlyBronco  7 років тому +1

      +brandon cruthirds yeah I’m using the stick tank and pick up. But my pick up was for a manual pump so I’m not sure the difference between that and one for EFI

    • @hfuklgrekf

    • @NashvilleEarlyBronco
      @NashvilleEarlyBronco  7 років тому +1

      +brandon cruthirds probably a good idea. I would go online and look at pictures of the two, manual vs. EFI, and see if you can see any differences

    I noticed the fuel pump was loud when you primed it. I just installed mine and it does the same thing. After I crank it the pump comes back on and I can hear it while the engine is running. It is pretty loud. Does yours make that much noise while it is running?
