Satan is not a red devil with a forked tail holding a pitchfork. The Bible does not describe him as a hideous creature, its says he is beautiful and even has the ability to appear as an angel of light. That is why he is dangerous and persuasive.

You know they're just allegories to abstract portrayals of ones own psyche right? Satan goes way back to pagan beliefs, and those "beliefs" were simply an oral tradition used to pass knowledge of the arts, math, astronomy and philosophy. Perhaps there is a touch of mysticism involved but I think the overall message is self realization and the message was misused and just forgotten overtime.

I've read Job at least 100 times.... It just now occurred to me, the way God speaks to Satan in Job, seems reminiscent of how Solomon speaks to the various demons he encounters. Which we know he was only able to do because the ring he had from God, could bind demons. I had a vision in 2019 that confused me. I was a devoted parishioner at the time and in this vision I was in church (where I was going in the morning). I was standing in a pew and everyone was in attendance, yet only seen to me a very tall, red man with yellow eyes and black large wings step from behind the pastor. He was so distinguished and unusually handsome given my description, he said, "tomorrow we will have her, don't be afraid." He kept a respectable distance from me which appeared as cautious of me while I started to hear rattling in the pews behind me whereupon I turn and see behind every parishioner ducked down behind the pews very large wings, full of fear because I only saw their wings and they were shaking for fear because the red man before me told them don't fear her tomorrow we will have her. This always confused me because in the early morning hours I was bowling, and swimming naked on the miami beach that evening after bowling (it was across the street from my apartment). I went hours later to church. Ultimately the one that wasn't afraid of me was the one who stepped from behind the preacher.

Also, light and darkness may be referring to sunrise and sunset, which would be a continuation of the idea presented in verse 6. When we choose God we are safe and have peace (at least in our hearts) and when we turn our back on God we will not be safe and we will not have peace. Just as someone who is Catholic. Lucifer is like a name but it isn’t a name. The term Lucifer which from Hebrew means Heylel. But I think u know that from memory. But the passage of “How you fallen from heaven, o Lucifer, son of dawn. How are you cast down, who weakened the nations. In the passage that says, with his fall, how it did weaken the nations, because with his rebellion, he took other Angels too. Heaven must have nations of Angels, like with mankind, it must mean Angels, following the time line, his fall or rebellion was before man was created, because he couldn't tempt Adam and Eve to sin unless he had already sinned.

My mom had been disabled since I was young. I watched her begin to talk to herself and laugh to herself. Nobody would really tell me what was going on with her. This entire passage which is the first and only mentioning of a lucifer is clearly in reference to the king of Babylon and it reclareifies this multiple times in the chapter! Lucifer was never an angel. Angles do not have free will but are expressions of God, his mercy, his wrath and judgment (these are called evil angels bound in chains reserved for judgment least they destroy everything according to the full wrath of god), his wisdom ect. You know they're just allegories to abstract portrayals of ones own psyche right? Satan goes way back to pagan beliefs, and those "beliefs" were simply an oral tradition used to pass knowledge of the arts, math, astronomy and philosophy. Perhaps there is a touch of mysticism involved but I think the overall message is self realization and the message was misused and just forgotten overtime.
The word satan is actually the descriptive word, meaning adversary in Hebrew

I had a vision in 2019 that confused me. I was a devoted parishioner at the time and in this vision I was in church (where I was going in the morning). I was standing in a pew and everyone was in attendance, yet only seen to me a very tall, red man with yellow eyes and black large wings step from behind the pastor. He was so distinguished and unusually handsome given my description, he said, "tomorrow we will have her, don't be afraid." He kept a respectable distance from me which appeared as cautious of me while I started to hear rattling in the pews behind me whereupon I turn and see behind every parishioner ducked down behind the pews very large wings, full of fear because I only saw their wings and they were shaking for fear because the red man before me told them don't fear her tomorrow we will have her. This always confused me because in the early morning hours I was bowling, and swimming naked on the miami beach that evening after bowling (it was across the street from my apartment). I went hours later to church. Ultimately the one that wasn't afraid of me was the one who stepped from behind the preacher.

Beings called Satan ot rather The Satan (Ha-Satan = The Adversary) are not the same beings as NT Satan. The Accuser in Job is just a member of God's divine council and the one that faces Balam is an angel of the Lord.
The word Satan was not used for The Big Bad in OT period but the connection was made in second temple period which is the cultural and religous background of NT's authors.
Also recognition of the serpent as a divine being is already in the OT. You can even ecognize it from the way he is described in Genesis 3 but the most obvious recognition is from Isaiah's descirption of the divine rebel.

Take notice that lots of them include the footnote that says something like "Satan means the acuser or the adversary". The guy in Job isn't supposed to be linked with the evil dude from NT. @@ndo104no Some passages are written like puzzles to make the reader dig deeper. He made the light and some people chose the darkness. He gave us peace and some chose evil. Also, light and darkness may be referring to sunrise and sunset, which would be a continuation of the idea presented in verse 6. When we choose God we are safe and have peace (at least in our hearts) and when we turn our back on God we will not be safe and we will not have peace.

In the passage that says, with his fall, how it did weaken the nations, because with his rebellion, he took other Angels too. Heaven must have nations of Angels, like with mankind, it must mean Angels, following the time line, his fall or rebellion was before man was created, because he couldn't tempt Adam and Eve to sin unless he had already sinned.
Well angels are the closest things to God himself. When they turn on their Creator they know what they were getting themselves into and there was no coming back to heaven. When Lucifer fell he vowed he would make humanity suffer. That was why he tempted Adam and Eve in the garden as the serpent. Adam and Eve committed original sin that was called the fall of man and everything in creation suffered because of a big lie when he told Eve that she wouldn't die that she would be like God. No wonder he has the title of father of lies. I really don't blame Eve she didn't know what she was getting into neither did Adam but they chose to do it. But really the devil is to blame for the fall of humanity.

My mom had been disabled since I was young. I watched her begin to talk to herself and laugh to herself. Nobody would really tell me what was going on with her. My aunt told me that demons were talking to her. I was 4th grade and I hated the devil, demons etc. So I would say aloud that I hated him and I'd say that he's defeated already. In any case I've suffered nightmares and so on most of my life. I wondered if it was ever because of what I used to say. In any case I am in a much better place to resist him and sin.
