thanks dude i didnt get isotopes and i have my midterms after a few hours, moreover your way of explaining is AMAZING! edit: i got 100 percent in chemistry :)
i have finals in 9 days i have chemistry on my first day, and i didn't understand shit in chemistry this year so i started today so i can pass my chemistry exam
Bless you!! I have been stuck on my chem homework for hours and came upon this video in desperation! I had no idea about anything you discussed before you explained it and I ended up getting all but one right on your quiz at the end. Thank you soooo much! I have a chance at passing my test! :) :)
man you are saving me in my online class... I learn best in in-person classes, but I have to work full-time and can't do in-person classes. Online classes are kicking my ass bc it's like I can't absorb anything. your videos are saving my grade AND me. thank you for making it to where I understand it, you're a lifesaver
Thanks to you, I'm definitely learning. Now i'm in an internal battle of my purpose of going to school when I'm learning here AND ALSO I'M DOUBTING IF MY TEACHER IS LAZY OR HAS A POOR TEACHING SKILLS OR SHE JUST LEARNED IT TOO :/
😪 You should have been there for me 20 years ago! Your clarity would have put my former teacher to shame and he had a doctorate in chemistry. Keep up the great work.
Dude he is doing it wrong. The atomic number is at the top instead of the bottom and the atomic mass number at the bottom instead of the the top. That is why I follow in class @The Organic Chemistry Tutor
I literally love you, you makes chemistry so easy for me to understand. Sometimes the professor over complicates things but god bless you. Keep uploading until I'm finished being a premed pls :(
• isotopes have different mass number (the number at the top) • But same atomic number (the number at the bottom) they share the same number of protons • if they are different elements their is no isotopes • atomic number represent the protons and electrons • the number of protons and electrons are equal to each other • mass number - atomic number =neutrons • the reason why the mass number are different because the number of neutrons are different. • nuclear properties are different but chemical properties are the same •isotopes are always composed of the same element • if they share the same atomic number it means that they are isotopes
I have a bad memory for chemistry thats why I failed it in hightschool I can allways remember the names of single elements but not latin type ones, and when they asked me if they were gas, compounds or liquids I failed I would love to go back and fix it, I took to computing and technology more than anyone else, even I loved reading like biology, sciences and doing experiments I listened to the na sayers and now I wish I did not, even if I had a time mechine I would go back to me in time and say stop listening to na saysers, no be so negative on yourself keep pestering them and prove to them and be yourself and pay attention to maths and Physics, chemistry and biology, well the last 3 will help I do not know if biology would help but It would help one understand life better and I guess biology would make people more aware of life and there bodies.

Professor Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for explaining/analyzing Isotopes in AP/General Chemistry. From watching this video, I understand Isotopes and its powerful impact in all levels of Chemistry. This is an error free video/lecture on UA-cam TV with the Organic Chemistry Tutor.
This channel is amazing. The best so far. Even looked at other videos thinking it could be too good to be true. But nope, you have everything I need. Amazing. Thank you!!!
is your schools that easy.. or is it just my school? Bud I’m learning this in grade 6, I’m now in grade 8, learning the same thing but I have to memorize mass num and atomic number of first 20 elements with their names and symbols in order. And it my first class test.
You don't need to memorize atomic mass of 20 elements, you can also do it by the trick "even atomic number=atomic no.*2 and if odd atomic number= atomic no.*2+1" and (Be,N,Cl,Ar) are exceptional cases which need to learn.
Thank you so much. I understood so much in your video session than in my chemistry teacher's class. Your class is simple and explains complicated things in an easy manner which students can understand easily. Thank you so much.
As many said good job. Helped to simplify the info for what most people need out of it. It helped me for sure but still did not answer my question lol. Off I continue keep up the good work.
I trusted Jesus when I signed up for nursing school and he has given me a brain that absorbs all the information I need to know and retain it! God is so good!
Thanks dude! this saved my life i always sucked at Chem. I'm redoing it to replace a bad rotten grade that's just ruining my GPA. I am terrible at Chem, i had a terrible experience the last time i took the class & I haven't taken the class in 8 years. I've taken physics & engineering classes so i understand the physics portion & how energy works, just fine but the disconnect is always in all these terms & tricks they have to apply the table information to get an answer.
Definitely earned a new subscriber! Im in 10th grade and dont know if ill see this in school, I was interested in this subject and was researching it in my free time and I loved your way of explaining it! Ill be glad to watch more od your content and videos. Thank you! ^^

Chemistry is like math. You cant understand a greater concept until you understand the basics. some people try to skim over smaller concepts like atomic mass and the location of the subatomic particles. Dont move on to another concept until you understand the one your stuck on.
