You have adjusted really well despite issues here and there not found in Kenya as compared to the states......A very humble guy, kindly visit other places in Kenya...
Great content Musa. With your first matatu ride I now knight thee a true Nairobian.
About time 😂 appreciate you 💪🏾
Culture ! Me telling my AA friends that ‘ain’t no hate towards you out here’
You a real one 🤞🏾
The education in kenya might have been ignored. But its actually very impressive that all the guys can do an interview in English.
Lol that's funny all Kenyans speak more than 3 languages English being one of them
@@Dianamonyes there are countries that you cannot communicate. Try Tanzania
kibe lol
Those east Africans feel proud speaking English it's also cuz of colonization even primary school dropouts can speak English in their 30s
What do you mean that education in Kenya was ignored ?
This is dope, Matatu culture to the world.
Enjoyed seeing you going in the hood to witness the culture. Other areas where matatus are pimped out is in the industrial area, in Eastleigh by Moha Graphics and others. Your Nairobi initiation is now complete, welcome to our world! 😂😂😂
Asante Kaka 😂🤣😂
Matatu Culture is Globally Unique !! It should be recognised as potentially "a tourist attraction"....Kudos to Musa
I totally agree with you‼️
@@mfalmemusa actually the real original matatu culture or ma3 as we used to call it started from Eastlands. Now that you are in Nairobi, ask someone you trust to take you to eastlands. That is where the Nairobi hip-hop kind of life, streets kind of life, sheng or swahinglish street slang started from. So if you really want to know the deepness of the matatu culture, go to Eastlands in places like Uhuru, Jerusalem which we used to call Salem, outering which we used to call outer, etc. Just to get off topic a little bit, sheng started in Eastlands, Jericho or Jeri as we used to call it was one of the streets ghetto neighborhood back in the day. So the matatu caulture you are finding out on that part of Nairobi did not originate from that location but they also do their thing. Today it's very different unlike when I was growing up in Nairobi. Just fyi. But good content King Musah.
Ati it's global! Go to other countries and see if this criminal act will be entertained.
There's no decent country that would allow criminal gangs to run public with impunity.
Every country is not like Kenya where one does what he wants. Most countries in the world have motor traffic act. U will face the full wrath of the law if u break traffic rules but in Kenya when it comes to traffic there's totally no law
.mn.
Mmn 😅😮😊😊😅😮😮😮😅😅
Lmao.Unless it's sanitised there's nothing to be proud about travelling looking at cheap foreign influened graphic designs while being forced to look at tasteless music videos
LETS GO!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔝🔝🔝
Bro! You already know 🤞🏾
Appreciate you!
Musa my bro thanks sana for how u promotes this county .for every this love u r were bro for sure

I absolutely love ❤️ this Episode! 🎉it’s a whole vibe! From the explanation of Matatu culture, to the experience in a Matatu for the first time, and why the owners do what they do! I enjoyed it all! & seeing all the smiles! Definitely a great time ❤🙏🏾🫶🏾
And the camera lady did her thang! 😉
It was a whole vibe‼️
@@mfalmemusa With you being from Philly, you might to visit FreeTown, Sierra Leone as well. Just to visit. Most ppl in Philly has a grandparent/ancestor who moved from South Carolina and told to keep quiet about the Gullah or Gullah geechee culture / language when moving up north.
Big up for representing us bro
You already know‼️
Those types of matatus were really popularized in the 90s. They were very fascinating because back then there was not so many ways to access music as we do now and they always had the most current music so the experience had more impact especially for the urban youth... there was a whole culture around this. I wish someone would note its history properly so people have context.
Mfalme... Almost becoming a conductor
Almost 😅
That matatu ride was scenic
Damager - Rongai🔥🔥
When "Spec" said "You just do what you feel"...shows the sign of a true creative. I think I might have get a Disco matatu, with a disco ball and strobe lights made for the hip "seasoned" crowd🤣. I would totally ride one of the more quiet ones for the experience. Your Ki-Swahili is great! We need more of this great content! #Africa2024
Sandra! I would definitely invest in your disco ball Matatu 😂🤣😂
I'm going to hold you to that! 🤣@@mfalmemusa
The houses you see back there is an estate you can get good houses for like 40000 to 50000ksh do a tour of estates aroud that place

@@ruqayyahcurtis7504yes its ksh
Will do🫡
@@mfalmemusa DONT SHOCASE HOUSES IN KANGUNDO ROAD ! those places are for the locals NOT Foreigners. Security not good and very far from the city centre. Stay in Nairobi or close to Nairobi City. Am Kenyan I know what am saying.
Your language skills are really increasing brother Musa. I love hearing you speak ❤❤❤
Asante Sana Ruqayyah 🤗

Me too‼️
Older crowd might like some jazz or RNB? Do you need a license and permits to operate a matatu?
Yes,
What basically is needed its to first to identify the route you want the matatu to operate and join the sacco that operate in that area
Secondly the matatu has to go to NTSA for inspection and they will issue you with the permit to operate at that designated route
What a ….. question ! Of course. You can’t drive a damn car let alone a commercial vehicle without a damn license. I’m an African In America. Actually I lived in Kenya. I’m originally from Rwanda. Also, East Africa. Just like Kenya.
I agree, the R&B and Jazz would be dope!
Yes …it’s a business that operates under laws…in fact you have to register it to a Sacco for security and liability issues
This is one of a kind experience bro. Thanks for the great content always.
Glad you enjoyed it 🙏🏾
Hahaha that's awesome daddy matatu
Appreciate you Kaka!
Perfect
Kabisa!
welcome to kenya bruv

Hey Musa which Sacco travels to your area and which is your favorite Nganya?
.....it can be the chop shop .....of where to find your missing car ( well the remains)😮
Oh no 🤦🏾♂️
If you want the best mechanics in Kenya look for Luo tribes where Obama father comes from. They are from West part of Kenya, Nyanza.Very intelligent people.
Appreciate the advice

@@mfalmemusa Most def
Matatu culture should be in museums not on the roads.
Kenya would never get civilised untill they adopt a traffic act.
Traffic act doesn't allow any unauthorized ad or photo on public vehicles.
Many of this matatus have never paid on this ad posts and other photographies on their vehicles, this shows that there's no motortraffic authority in this country
If a word in English is king musa in swahili its the opposite musa mfalme. Teacher musa in swahili its musa mwalimu.
So why is your name Mfalme ice tea? Shouldn’t it be ice tea Mfalme 🤦🏾♂️
@mfalmemusa correct that's how it should be. Good student. Wrote mine wat back before I knew the right way.
Huyu sio kamau😅
wrong English translation.....
Open sewers. Not good.
The hip-hop culture fail in the interview 😅 the guy don't even know the names of the rappers artists 😅😅
He is not the user he is merely given the contract to paint whats his business with hip hop??
I don’t believe it failed… Spec the artist came up with idea of drawing Tyga & Nicki Minaj. I can’t go outside without seeing hip-hop artists on Matatu’s.
Nice try Michael 😅😅😅
Pimp my ryd , mtv can't touch dis.
Ahhh it’s official‼️
That matatu's weak as hell need to a slick one
