Last place I stayed in Nairobi was in Kitisuru. About 15 mins from Westlands in a 1 br in a modern building with a gym in the building for $380 a month. Tanzania is totally diff than Kenya. Dar Es Salaam is a mostly run down city with busted up sidewalks. It's an interesting place to check out but I wouldnt want to live there. Not a lot of street lights so at night watch your step on those broken streets. After the sun goes down it becomes Dark Ass Salaam.
I Think you have never Explorered Tanzania in details...you went in Dar you stayed in one street and concluded the whole Tanzania....you people sound stupid for sure... Tanzania has many cities and many developed Areas.....Dar es Salaam itself has the longest BRT system in Africa with over 150km...and the brt system comes out with sidewalks,sewage system, drainage, traffic lights and Streets lights... If you don't understand well a place.
