The Dreaded Sequel! 100% Guaranteed To Be Not As Funny As The Last One! .............................ALSO: www.opposablechums.com............................
True story: I was at a camp for young birders and we had just finished watching this video while on a ferry to Cape May. 30 minutes later a guy approaches us and makes a bit of small talk, then says, "Ever seen that Alfred Hitchcock movie 'The Birds'?". We had a nice laugh afterwards.
So true -- can't believe how many times people ask me to ID a bird they've seen -- and from the description, you KNOW it doesn't exist. Oh, and there is the dreaded question: "Are you looking at eagles?" Nope...
Love the bird topography of non-birders: "This half was orange, this half of it was red, this half was green" Three halves in total! Did you take a course or something? Classic.
People actually do try to describe birds like that to my mom and I😂😂😂 They’re like “So what was it? I bet it was a roadrunner!” I live in Illinois, and some lady at our old church tried to tell my mom and I ( My dad doesn’t care about birds, he’s cares about fishing; and my sibling kinda care but not as much as my mom and I ) that she saw a roadrunner. A roadrunner... IN ILLINOIS😂😂😂😂😂 Some people...
Another great video. "It literally went "cheap cheap cheap" can you believe that?" And I love the messed up names given to the birds -- Retail Hawk. LOL
And my grandma is horrible too! She will say stuff like “So I saw this bird. It was sparrow sized, and BRIGHT yellow. But it wasn’t a goldfinch, and it was only yellow with a little black.” And my mom and I are like “Well it’s a goldfinch.” It’s not like she has meadowlarks and common yellow throats in her yard!😂😂😂 But she will INSIST that it was not a goldfinch, and then she’ll say it was a desert sparrow. We don’t even have those in our COUNTRY, let own our state or town!
I thought "Sh*t Birders Say Was Funny", then I saw this video. It reminded me of a lot of people I know who don't bird. I thought this was both funny and relevant.
A more fitting name would be stuff non birders say, it's not really anything especially stupid nor humorous and outside of what anyone would think and want to know, acting friendly have you considered making a video providing ansers to those common questions?

Honimation Studios What I like most about that story is that my video is of some interest to young birders. Thanks for sharing it with them.
