Passports are not just show pieces that I would gloat over while working, to be used in the context of travel and hence the comment

@@Nandkishore7321 well, if you can score clb 9 you can go for express entry. I couldn’t so pnp was best option for me. On top i am from agriculture background and Saskatchewan is the best place in canada for the agricultural opportunities.
So for me Saskatchewan is the best place to settle down.

Very good achievements, congratulations for your Canadian citizenship, I too am a dual citizen, just apply for oci, it is just like a green card/permanent Visa, with fewer restrictions you will not have to worry about visas to India, it's all good I to have that myself
yeah thats an option too, but we did not want to renew OCI every now and then and we do not go to India that often, in the last 12 years here we have only visited 2 times.

American PR vs Canadian PR (Fun Fact):
A Canadian, has to go to American consulate to get visa for what ever duration he needs; has to stop at the border of US to get visa clearance and OK'd for entry
An American green card holder just walks through (Used to show only his drivers license, now that is returning once licenses with Real ID comes up)

Dear Gulati family, I think you are just Canadian citizen without OCI or visa. Although getting an OCI for once is not a bad option from price and formalities point of view. I have worked with BLS guys and also OCI guys, i know what kind of experiences you are talking about.

Hi Jas Ji, Neha Ji, I can understand the feeling of letting go your citizenship. I'm born malaysian and raised but still have oci. I'll be in same situation if I were to handover malaysian citizenship for canadian and I'm wondering what will happen to my oci. My guess is you guys are on OCI

For someone who came PR from India how do we prove the education in India was in English for citizenship? Degrees & transcripts,ECA don’t say the mode of education was English
IELTS score expire in 2 years , one becomes eligible for citizenship in 3 yrs

Hi m living in regina ( Saskatchewan). Last month i applied for citizenship and CELPIP (English test) is compulsory now. No metter whether you have india’s higher study or any canadian reference latter. CELPIP is compulsory now.

Situation is quite bad in ON right now. They are under lockdown and stay at home order.
