Govt do not have money . Aapko lagta hai contractors Bina payment meh Kam karega. Lalsot sawai madhopur section last February se complete ho Gaya hai sirf cctv nahi laga hai purane dues ke liye. DME enthusiastic people's should invest in NHAI bonds which is giving 8.1 % interest.

Gujarat, Maharashtra or anywhere infrastructure projects always progress at a slow pace. Land acquisition issues, last minute changes in alignment and design, local factors like access or exit from the highway, provision of petrol pump, amenity spaces and much more. What is on the plan, changes a lot when on field.
So blaming only Maharashtra is not correct.

Problem hi problem is expressway meh. Lalsot se sawai madhopur construction completed. cctv nahi lag raha hai since contractors ko purana Paisa nahi mila , isliye woh log Kam nahi kar raha. What is the use keeping it blocked from last February

You should understand various problems associated with different packages instead of simply blaming.
Maharashtra is highest job producing and progressive and same reason people all over India leaving their native houses and shifted hear like magnets. Peace ✌️

Its because they applied for the tender as per process and were declared lowest bidders, also the work was initially stopped in 2022 due to land acquisition issues and not the bidder

@@toastperoast2348pura package ka majority land acquisition nahi hota tab tak kaam nahi chalu kar sakte and local people protest against any work unless land is fully cleared.
There is quadruplling going on for virar to dahanu railway line which land is acquired long back now local people have started protesting and stopped the work because they were promised jobs and tenders awarded in construction but didn't get any. Most of the time it's local goons trying to win tender contracts by protesting and making money by exploiting local people.
It's not always contractor / government.

Brother, please mention the company who got the contract to construct these packages. It looks like RSIIL (Roadway Solutions India Infra Ltd.) has got the contract for package 8 and 9. No prpgress has happened on both the packages.
Rajasthan has done 91% work completed in Bharatmala project ❤
Package 8&9 went for retendering. After RSIIL failed to start work. But even in tendering RSIIL emerged as the lowest bidder for both packages. LOA not awarded looks like.

This may not even finish before 2029, or even after that. Because once the government comes, even if it is this one, they may slow down further. Priorities also change. New projects will come up. So I wouldn't be surprised if this eventually becomes like Mumbai-Goa Highway project.

It is disheartening to see this. It seems Delhi -Mumbai expressway was meant to be Delhi-Surat expressway.
I can bet that bullet train will run first than a vehicle on this section of expressway.

Why did NHAI re-award the contract to the same company, Roadway Solutions, when they hardly did any work from 2021. Looks like the DME will only be completed in 2027. No wonder it will be impossible for India to ever catch up with China!
