- In this episode, I explore three ponds and a beautiful waterfall in Deer Park. Spectacular drone footage, I catch some trout, make a tiny pot of peas soup from scratch by the pond, whip up some bush coffee and attempt to balance my portly arse in a very tippy canoe (this could go either way!). Plus an unexpected early morning visitor to the cabin. This one is jam packed! Enjoy.

Awesome day out, I had a little canoe few years ago., while I never went in the water everytime was a close call and I said it was a matter of time because I couldn't get comfortable in it.
The pot of pea soup might have been small but definitely looked delicious.
Thats a nice location by the falls , great drone footage. Nice cook set got all the essentials for a day out. Never heard of doing coffee that will have to give it a try. All you did looks great to me. We're all learning off each other on here I find lol. Have a great week.
You are sooo right. Learning from eachother is THE best part of youtube in my opinion. Btw, i wasnt exaggerating about the bush coffee. After that scene, I actually had a second cup which was “the bottom of the kettle. I was sure the grounds would be on that cup but no sir, not a ground to be found lol! Ill never bother with filters again when Im out in the woods

There’s a big motorcycle rally in Laconia, New Hampshire June 17th, and before that, there’s Americade in Lake George, NY first week of June I believe. That’s my old stompin grounds

Is that first pond HC pond? Also having some more weight in your canoe will the help with the primary stability quite a lot! even a big rock in the bow will make a difference! I'd say you drove past our camp on dawes pond road on your way into bad pond. great video, cheers!
Yessir. That is HC pond (ive heard it called HC gully too for some reason). Thanks for tip on the weight. Typically, Id be going with camping gear so that should help. I passed a couple of campsites. Which pond were you on?
