The only thing that can stop the Vikings from being a legit threat is the injury bug like what happened to them last season.

BTW, Daniel Jeremiah picked the Vikings to win each of the first 5 games so far. In each year KOC has addressed the previous year’s inefficiencies. Coming in it was QB relationship, after the 1st year it was the defense, after last year’s slow start it was being prepared from day one of training camp and minute one of each game. It’s the second year of the Flores defense so that side of the ball was obviously going to be better, especially after the acquisition of “his” guys. The Vikings were overlooked for one simple reason … Sam Darnold. People didn’t give enough credit to Kyle and then Kevin’s choosing to develop Sam.
Does Thor think Jones will be ready for the Lions game? Since he is looking forward to the game so much.

McCarthy was already going to be great, him actually sitting a year (no matter reason) is actually the best scenario. Mentally he will be a year ahead of his raw talent now. Its a win win.

The Vikings are not trading as they intend on competing long term not short .
The last 6 quarters have been poop on offense. The only thing that's different, is the LACK of rushing in these quarters. Jones isn't going to be reliable enough because of frequent injuries. They've got something special this yr, but darnold throwing 40 times a game to make up for no running game is a recipe for a 1st rd blowout. And what else could they do if no steady run game is available? If they are gonna try and trade for someone before the deadline, it better be a rb, and not a backup level back. Being able to slow drive, eats clock, gives the d a break, and breaks the opponents spirit. And it's how they owned the previous 4 games.
Rb is no1 need, for this offense.
Jayden Daniels= Randall Cunningham type???? What a lazy azz comparison by Thor. Jayden's style of offenses that he's operated in from college to now and his incredible accuracy at a young age, are completely different than Cunningham's offenses, skill set, and early QB training history. Mobility and complexion are their ONLY commonalities.
I can drive my 2016 Dodge ram Pu truck down to the lake with my 22 ft boat or my travel trailer. If I bought a $60000 new pu truck I'd only be driving that down to the lake. I'd have no boat or on travel trailer. I don't need a new Kirk Cousins Pu truck. My paid off truck trailer and boat work like new. 👍

Actually the only thing that can stop the Vikings.....is the Vikings. We all know the likelihood of how this carnival ride ends. Don't get overly confident or hawty. Most people expected JJ McCarthy to take the reigns at some point this season, so just take it one game at a time and enjoy what's left of the season.

@unicornhearts Cute that I think they shouldn't get too full of themselves, and fans shouldn't plan Super Bowl parade route spots after 5 games? You must not have much history with this team. It's a nice redemption story for Darnold, but the wheels could just as easily fall off this thing, and they miss the playoffs. If Sam gets hurt and misses time, they're done. Period.

For the Vikings to be taken seriously by the mainstream, they will need to beat Detroit without a 4th quarter meltdown.
Thorski and company let's talk about trade guys. Knowing it sure seems like Vikings we're willing to go to 3 if it was 2 1sts and another 2 or 3 but it was more then that. That means that 2025 1st rounder was meant to be traded so can we see that pick still be traded but at trade deadline for a player? If you think you have QB figured out then the next step is to get crazy with your poker chips and at 5-0 it sure like time to go full Rams!!!

I still don't buy it. These second half collapses are indicative of a team thats not as good as they seem. Almost every year there's teams that start off hot and then struggle down the stretch. If Darnold plays well vs the Lions and actually has a dominant game with 300 plus yards and carries us to a victory and we win because of him then ill open my heart to believing. Until then I'll be a sceptic.

When you guys were creaming your pants over McCarthy, I didn't know this team would complement itself on both sides of the ball. They are reckless with the ball at times, Darnold has to qoute Phil "Darnold has a bleep gene" that maybe true, especially when he hunts down the field. He is not Kirk, and will throw a holy sh-t what was that.
We as fans just must live with it, when it works he's the MVP, when it doesn't its holy sh-t!

KOC can get this out of McCarthy as well as Darnold. We won’t pay what Darnold will get on the open market. JJ is our future… and the future is bright.

Haha...last 6 quarters of inept offense? You forget they played away (Lambeau, London) against top-tier defenses. Also, the wet conditions in London were not ideal for Vikings passing game and AJ was hurt too.

However, he's the long term QB for 2025 and beyond, so why do you find people talking about him offensive? There's plenty of coverage of Sam as well. I guarantee you that excitement about JJ is not a distraction in the Vikings' locker room.
