Have about 3000 hrs in a helmet. (helicopter crew chief Huey gunship and OH-58) What worked for me was a clear visor instead of a tinted one. Sun glasses under the clear visor.
That would be a great option as well however this is the current option that skycowboys sell. There might be a clear one available through Team Wendy directly. Thanks for your service 🇺🇸👍🏻

Great colour! Would been nice to show how the helmet looks on your head, how you put in on, adjust it, and take it off. One might expect a review to also speak about fit and comfort on long flights or different conditions.
You skimmed over the Bose instal. At least there is a detailed installation video directly ion Sky Cowboy Supply's website. You alluded to the open questions of where to route your cabling inside the helmet. A more detailed discussion of the issue would be welcome.
Your Bose at 10 years might still work well, note that they do have replacement ear cushions.
Do you find the visor dark enough for flying in a really sunny day
Considering what some helmets cost this one seems pretty reasonable.
Very affordable and great to support 2 US companies.
Who makes the visor for them? Curious if there’s other tint options
What is the clamping force like on the ear cups on the helmet vs the headset ?
I would say about the same but I also have a big noggin 😬. If you have a normal sized head you probably won’t notice a difference.
@@AeroworksProductions that makes no sense whatsoever? You’re referencing because your head is big it feels the same but if you don’t have a big head you won’t notice a difference which is in affect feeling the same.
@@Captndarty My point was if you have a big head then your headset will probably feel tighter too. Anyway the helmet is very comfortable and fully adjustable so I wouldn’t worry too much about fit.
