I live in southwest Victoria and have travelled on the Great Ocean Road many times. I was there the day one of the Apostles collapsed. All I saw was a lot of dust and birds flying off the top. Also, I crossed the London bridge before collapsing. It had a large crack that ran longways on the Arch that collapsed.
There WERE 12 Apostles, but 4 have corroded and fell down. Also THE ARCH fell through some years ago leaving people 'stranded' on the remaining bit. Story is that a couple were a married man and his 'work friend' having a sicki .
Portugal is a beautiful place. I would love to visit one day.

The great Ocean road temperature is much lower than Melbourne's temperature ..usually between 20 - 24 celcius. not as many hot days as Melbourne.
