Kaunis 😗😗
Wow you are freaking gorgeous lol such a natural beauty!!! Love ur vids!
+Cizel Perez Zea Awww thanks ❤️
couldn't agree more
That helps a lot to remember, can you also do Part 2 for the limbs? Neck, Arms, Hands, etc? Kittos!
Loved that with the extreme close-up, really effective - better without makeup. Poski, leuka ja otsa. Kiitos!
Haha I just wanted things to be extra clear what I was pointing at xD
Well, it worked. Both because you were clearly pointing at this or that bit of face you were naming, and didn't care if you were fully made-up. Which would only have obscured things anyway. Good job!
Beautiful silmät! And I love the freckles...
+Joe Gillis haha kiitos :)
No make up is good. You look natural. Plus, your videos. I up thumbed.
Kiitos!
Thanks for the video,I've been learning a lot from your lessons.

@@KatChatsFinnish thank you🤩
Do you live in Finland ?
This is a very romantic thought and probably completely wrong, but when I heard "silmä" the first thing I thought of were the Silmarils. So maybe Tolkien thought of some beautiful eyes when he came up for a name for those jewels...? It's not as preposterous as it seems, after all when he fashioned one of the Elvish languages, Quenya, he used Finnish as a model (and Welsh for Sindarin)...
You could be onto something there! Interesting nevertheless :)
Moi! Thanks for the video Kat! Would be great if in The next video you could talk about School Vocabulary.
What a beautiful silmät 😄.
Kiitos! :D What in particular about school vocab? :)
@@KatChatsFinnish Could be like materials or even about subjects. 🤔
Kiitos paljon 🌷
Kiitos paljon, this video is super helpful
So happy to hear that :D
The senteces might not be very useful ones but we do get to observe how the words behave when grammar kicks in. ;-) And finnish grammar is a lot of fun!
Tää on mahtava. 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
I think shuuu for silent comefrom finland
Lovely
Kiitos 🥰🥰
mitä kaunis kasvot!
lol, idw about the part when you complain about ur georgous face, freckles are ADORABLE 😐👍
What about the hip area and below the shoulders?
Great lesson as always. Thanks. Need word for lip/lips.
Lip = Huuli
Lips = Huulet
:D
Yea I also wanted to praise her lips in Finnish :p
Kiitos.
Your beautiful just the way you are☺️ no need for foundation😌
you don't need anything else you're just beautiful thanks for the lesson
Kiitos :)
The way nenä is pronounced in Finnish sounds exactly how we pronounce nena in Spanish! ( by the way nena means “girl” in Spanish) 😁 Great & informative vid
Wow what a fun fact! haha, and thank you :)
Varsågod! 🤘🏻
@@KatChatsFinnish actually finish sounds are pronounced just like Spanish ones with a couple of exceptions like ö and y which does not exist in Spanish although they are used in French...
@@davidmartinez9718 ...not to forget the letter ä, which we also have in German.
You have probably answered this question too many times, but, I do not have time to read every post. So, do your fellow citizens in Finland, think you have an "accent"? Your English is so spot-on, it passes for Michigan, mid-western English. You actually speak English, like a mid-western American, with zero accent! Do you accomplish the same, when at home in Finland? Or do the locals, detect an accent?
In Finnish? Based on my accent no - people would assume I'm native.
@@KatChatsFinnish , ok, good to know. Like I said, you'd pass for native here in America's mid-west too. Well done.
Hello,
First, thanks for your videos, they're most helpful to get basic knowledge in Finnish.
I have a question regarding kulmakarva. Plural is kulmakarvat, but when you say kaksi kulmakarvaa, the ending is different. Why ?
Um just from my intuition without looking into the rules, kulmakarvat would be more like "the eyebrows" and kaksi kulmakarvaa is "two eyebrows" Basically anything you count so when you have a number in front you use the -a ending, so kolme kulmakarvaa, sata kulmakarvaa and it would be the same for other words. Hmm maybe I can dig deeper and make a video on it so it's more clear xD
👍 you are nice young lady. 🌹🌹🌹
I just fell in love with you...! ;) So beautiful! :)
Kiitos
Oh, don’t say your face is scary... you are beautiful ❤️
How about some plural partitivi lauseja with those words? :)
kiitos
best🎉
❤
What about the most important part of your face, specifically your lips?
Thanks, beautiful girl!
Kiitos!
جدا روعة
5:00 Nice expression!
LOL
This is almost like ASMR video since you're so close to cam and sometimes talk slightly smoother than normally :D So how about next time an actual ASMR video? :3
Hahah idk if I could actually pull that off xD
Maybe I could try at some point.... LOL
I also hope ASMR video from Kat :)
I would like that. :-)
U kill me 💜
Very preety i like you!!!!!!
Forgot to mention lips= Huulet and a lip= Huuli, and a pupil = oppilas , pupils = oppilaat 😉
Haha yeah, also a tip = Oppilas is pupil as in a student not the pupil inside the eye :P
І знову Катя-Сенсей висвітлює нам шлях!!! Щиро дякую тобі!!! 8;)))))))))

Maam u are looking beautiful
Thanks a lot :)
Hyva ja hauska video! En kyl joissain kohissa voinu olla nauramatta... 😂
Kyl ymmärrän xD
what a pretty face . kiitos palion
Hey sorry offtopic! Mut ois kiva jos voisit jeesaa!
Etkö sä opiskellu just psykologiaa?
@@KatChatsFinnish Well, more like we use singular partitive following a number or similar not-one expression. Kahdet kulmakarvat is more like two pairs(sets) of them. Similar and more familiar: kahdet sukat or kahdet lapaset.
How can i get Finnish citizenship?
So if I were to say you have beautiful cheekbones, I would say "Sinulla on kauniit poskiluut?"
+Bert Reynolds Exactly
Wrong subtitle at 2:55, Kulvakarva, should type m instead v, Kulmakarva, true?
Yes, it's in my pinned comment!
Please teach me about writing
Writing what?
@@KatChatsFinnish writing Finnish kiitos sinä olet kaunista 😗
Can you make a vedio about time table thanks
2:40 is Kulvakarva pronounced as Kulmakarva?
It was a typo !
😎😎😎😎💯💯💯💯🤩🤩😍😍
Good video. But you just talked about face parts not body parts in general 🙂
What about arms, hands, feet, leg, neck etc?
And also, how to say right or left eye?
Hahah yeah I broke it down a bit for a shorter video :P And yeah I can do left right and the rest too haha!
What about "eyelash" and "dimples" ?
Eyelash = Ripsi, Eyelashes = Ripset, Dimples = hymykuoppa
Minulla on kaksi kulmakarvaa?... but you said kaksi..so is plural....so are we have to say kulmakarvaat...or kulmakarvata...or some thing like this? Why the -t disappeared?
Kulmakarvat is more like "the eyebrows", so if you wanted to use that form of the word you'd need to say "kahdet kulmakarvat" otherwise it's "kaksi kulmakarvaa"
No it's not scary so cute :) thank you for this video
And kiitos for watching!
@@KatChatsFinnish finally I found your page on Facebook:)
How do I say where do you come from
As in which country or literally where have you just come from?
Mistä olet kotoisin = Where are you from (nationality)
Mistä olet tullut = Where have you come from (like just recently)
I need help you
Oletko velho?
You didn't do eyelashes rip nice video though
I remembered it as I was editing... D:
or lips :D
Darn!
Tassa on perseni
Finnish K sounds like a G.
That's because P and K and T in Finnish are not aspirated (as we do in German).
@@manfredneilmann4305 Also because Finnish doesn’t originally have a voiced-unvoiced contrast such as it’s found in most European languages. I’m Italian and we normally don’t aspirate any consonants, yet that Finnish k doesn’t sound to me like its Italian equivalent, but rather like a partially devoiced g.
Wow...one of the weirdest videos, if you were high while filming this, just nod 3 times in at beginning of next video :D...no offense btw...but still, thanks... P.S you've mentioned nose but haven't mentioned nostrils (is it nenäreikä?)..Cheers
OMG I didn't think that was a necessary vocab LOL
And yeah it would be nenänreikä
Well, you mentioned freckles...
Nostrils do have another specific translation. It is "sieraimet" sie-rai-met. One nostril (nenänreikä) is "sierain" sie-rain. :)
@@mikapaakki9696 Is "sieraimet" medical term or kirjekieli/puhekieli?
1:51'ahahajhahsgja
This is already very hard😓😞
D: Just try to watch it a few times and in parts, slow down the vid maybe - that might help too!

Ajatelen että jos sina kirjoitat ¨Minun¨ , sinun ei tarvitse kirioitaa ´´....ni¨
Yep, it's the more formal way to say it
