Fulaan, I love your style. Very informative. You’re the Video Man.
Thanks Chris! I appreciate that.
I hope your channel does great man, Really good helpful videos for us camera newbies. Thanks!
Thanks! I Appreciate that.
I've had so many good ideas floating around in my head since I was a kid. Today I made my first video with my kids. It's a little rough, but it's a start 😊
Nice. Congrats!
You give out a lot man, and I appreciate it, am a beginner video content creator using Canon 5d mark iv... I just feel like I need to learn tonnes from you sir
Awesome! I'm glad it was helpful.
Great video again. To the point and easy to understand. Really helpful 👍
Awesome! Thanks.
That audio transition to when you seat 🔥🔥🔥 Nice touch bro 👌
Thanks! I appreciate that.
Yo keep bringing a fresh new perspective to videography. Really like what you're talking about and the way you're talking about it and what you're doing with it. I just subbed looking forward to more of your videos. I'm a new aspiring videographer so I'll be watching
Thanks! I appreciate that.
Great to the point and helpful vid. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks!
I always get excited when you release a new video. I wanted to try a video where I use a b-roll. Matt Diavela's example was right on point.
Thanks Niko. I appreciate the support. I really respect mats style. Such simple filmmaking and clear communication. Not to mention that he is usually talking about valuable subjects as well.
Enjoy your delivery and the way you keep it simple.
I appreciate that!
Great tips Fulaan - Glad you shared this with us
Thanks for watching and commenting Casper! Brings back memories for me. you were one of the first people to leave comments back when I had less that 100 subscribers. Thanks Man!
Thanks for the tip friend!!!
This is a treasure here. 💎
Thanks!
So informative! Thank you ❤
Glad it was helpful : )
Just came across your channel. You got a real Vibe 💯
Thanks man! I appreciate that.
Mah, This is actually ufesul. Thank you!!!
Thanks!
Love your videos brotha they’re super informative and straight to the point. I’m picking up the m50 mark 2 with the 20-700 f/4 lense. Wish me luck!!
Thanks man! Congrats on the new cam.
I have to say these are some damn solid tips, appreciate it man! PS: I disagree a little bit with one of your tips, GAS is a plague, but at the same time when I bought my first full frame camera I was simply blown away how much easier my life became. Sometimes it really helps you out as a beginner to get better gear AND to be able to learn more.
Thanks! do agree to a certain extent about GAS. I talked about it in this video ua-cam.com/video/YubaSACHlQA/v-deo.html
Wow thank you man . Currently i m experiencing every thing first is mistake then learning.. some times i need to revist again same place.❤️
Thanks! I'm glad it was helpful.
Absolute beast for this video dude thanks 🙏
Thanks!
Great video, thanks for the tips!
Glad it was helpful!
Amazing tips! Love it
Glad it was helpful!
Hey man, I really admire your videos.... I am just a beginner and buying my first camera. I watched many of your videos and got to know about the differences between various cameras. I am thinking of buying Lumix S5 II or Canon R50..... I am more into shooting Nature cinematic videos. Kindly, give your advice.
Thanks! For first camera I'd go with the R50. So much better to learn on.
Thank you man!! I am a beginner and your information is very helpful for me!
Awesome. Happy to help!
hell yeah bro
Nice, quick, educational, useful, and well-presented. Keep it up bro
Appreciate it!
Another great video. I would love to hear more about how you plan “shot lists”? Right now I just don’t know what I don’t know.
Thanks! I'll try and make a video around that. Thanks for the suggestion.
@@FulaanCreative not a problem…I always appreciate content suggestions too!
All great tips, thanks!
Thanks for watching and commenting.
Bro is dope and helpful...simple as that 🔥
Thanks! I appreciate it.

Excellent! Like your 3 shots tip. Short and to the point. Any reason why 24-200 mm cannot replace the 3 lens for the 3 shots? Recommend that you try Nikon Z8. You will be amazed.
Thanks! A zoom lens can replace that but it can also make you lazy. switching lenses or walking closer or further can get the creative juices flowing a little.
@@FulaanCreativeThanks. I hate and fear changing lens as I do not want dust on the sensors.
Great content thank you! 😊
You are very welcome
Great tips. And @0:29 you had me rollin'! 😂😂 I can imagine doing that in front of one of my real estate agents. She'll probably run to her car and bolt!
Thanks! Yeah that would suck in front of a client lol
Thanks for this video! I hope you work on more videography tips.
I just got my lumix S5II, are you working on more videos about this camera?
Yes I be doing more vids on it soon. Thanks!
I am looking into this for my career this helps
Awesome. Glad it helped
Great tips 🙏 thank you
You're very welcome
This was a helpful video. I have to admit I've got a bit of GAS 😅 I needed the advice on the shot list. Going to use that today!! Thanks from the new guy!
You are very welcome! Thanks for watching and commenting.
Loved the tips! Can you make a video on how to take broll (handheld moves, tripod moves?) like you use them when you show off a product like a lens etc? Would be awesome!
Thanks! This video should help. ua-cam.com/video/dPdLBpPCRbQ/v-deo.html
Great tips bro. I’m new, only about 6 months in and all I have is my iPhone 13 and some drones. I’m already doing most of this (other than the gear) but this is a great video and will help me CONSCIOUSLY think about these things. Love the video - subscribed
Awesome! Thanks for the sub.
Thanks bro 🙌 really simple and helpful
You are very welcome
Such great tips (!!!), although for #1 I would suggest folks buy a camera with an effective IBIS (eg OM, some Canons, a few Sony’s: lots of cameras have IBIS, but only a few actually work) Always enjoy your videos!
Thanks! Yes IBIS helps but handheld can still be challenging.
Appreciate this video boss!
Your very welcome.
You are the best! Thanks
Glad it helped!
helps always !! @@FulaanCreative
Started out using a tripod for everything, photo and video. Now I hardly use it, shoot almost everything handheld like a tripod user, even milky waterfall shots. Where I like to trek, a tripod would be difficult to carry and use. I'm 70 now. Maybe if I was younger, but just don't see the point as I'm a gun and run type of shooter.
Yes some people have steadier hands than others. Mine are not that steady. Might be the coffee : )
@@FulaanCreative Lot's of sitting on rocks, logs or on the ground. Then again, if I can find something to lean against that helps too.
@@FlatWaterFilms Gotchya. Thanks for sharing.
Damn, great tips!!!
Thank you Fulaan for making things simple and easy to understand :D
My pleasure!
Currently going through a severe strand of GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) 😂. Thank you for this video it will begin my healing process
I'm gonna try these at some point this week, except number 3 cause my nikon just doesn't cut it when it comes to detail sometimes
Nice! Glad the video was of help.
Excellent. Too many Tubers give the impression that camera movements are more important than story. Very, very often a locked-down camera is the very, very best tool to invite the viewer into the story. Thank heaven for pros who know this.
Thanks! I'm glad the video was helpful.
Great advice! You are funny. You can be an actor.
: )
That was a great video. I am planning on taking a trip to NYC to stay in Manhattan. I know I'll get amazing shots😁😁
Nice! I haven't been to NYC in ages. So much cool stuff to film there!
Do you know if I can upload your Luts to CapCut? They look great. Also, great videos. I’m actually inspired to create my first video in the morning now. Thank you. 🤙🏽
Thanks! Yes Capcut allows custom luts
Hey Fulan! I'm a total beginner and honestly don't get a lot of what you're talking about yet, but I love watching your videos! I haven't even decided on my first camera yet (considering the Canon m50 mii, at least this week LOL), but I find your content inspiring, informative and super engaging, so a big thanks!! Is there an online course or some other content you would recommend besides watching all these YT videos, which while wildly entertaining, might not be the easiest to learn step by step for a brand new beginner like myself. Any suggestions most welcome, and thanks again 💖😊
Thanks! There are 2 descent courses. I haven't taken them but have heard good things. One is called tomorrows filmmakers and the other channel is called full time filmmaker. You can find links to their course on their channels.
@@FulaanCreative That's great! Thanks, will check them out 😊
Canon m50 II is AMAZING! It's versatile and easy to use with tons of videos on how to do everything with it! I use it for everything! You won't be disappointed! You'll be so happy! The Canon vlogging app is awesome!
🔥🔥🔥thanks

Definitely subscribed.
My wife likes 3rd tip the most. Oh and subscribed too.
She's not the only one. I think many wives will be much happier out there if we spend less money on new toys! Thanks for the sub.
i like the way u speak ... thanks for everyting 😁
Thanks. I'm glad it was helpful.
great video!
Thanks!

I'm super GASed, I wish I'd have seen this a couple years ago ha ha ha, nice job on this vid 🙏
Thanks!
Thank you so much

What is a soft box what is it used for
To reduce the harshness of the light. Check out my lighting video. It explains it.
My G! I asked this on another video, so please forgive the scam, but what would you recommend for a camera that can do a bit if videography and street photography? I know there is a lot to it, but any guidance would mean a ton for me!!! ❤🙏🏼
Mostly depends on budget. On the lower end I like the Canon R50 and Sony ZVE10. In the Midrange I like the Lumix S5II and the Canon R8.
thankyou
You are welcome
I see some comments said canon full frame mirrorless cannot fit to third party lens, how you fit Tamron lens to canon? By using adapter? I am just learning by watching your video.
Canon stopped allowing 3rd party manufacturers to make new lenses for the RF mount. The Lenses I use are EF lenses that I use with an adapter.
@@FulaanCreative Thanks!Do you have video on what’s RF and EF lens?
@@fung9901 I don't but RF is for the newer cameras and EF is a bit older.
Love your videos man. Great tips!
I appreciate that!
hi nice tips,,, But I just started knowing the basics of videography just few days ago and for a start all I have is my phone at the moment...and I would like to get some recommendations from you and how I kickstart my journey into this .. I am totally a beginner and i will be awaiting your response.. Thanks.
Thanks! Just take the tools you have and make stuff with it and see how close you can get to what you want to achieve. Then choose 1 thing you can improve on the next video and keep doing that for a few months. That's the best way to get started.
This guy is a G
Thanks for watching and commenting
So what camera should I get
If you are asking that I'm assuming you are just starting out. I'd go for the Canon R50 or Sony ZVE-10.
@@FulaanCreative yes sir just started out been real interested and excited to start this new journey
@@christianalcala531 Nice. Good on you.
I’ve been doing my videos with my phone and just bought an entry Sony camera. I thought I was a noob before haha
Everybody gotta start somewhere right
👍👍👍
Thanks!
and also we need high performance and specs computer setup for video editing : )
If your computer is slow you could transcode the footage into a codec that your computer can handle or another option would be to use a cloud based editing software so that the processing takes place on the servers. An example of that would be the cloud version of Capcut which is free by the way.
What Software is the best? (Asking for my uncle because he’s a Real Estate Agent) also I’m trying to learn
For video editing?
Using your legs! Hahaha! Love that tip
Thanks!
Now I’ve got a question
I am a beginner and work with the canon m50 and the standard lens 15-45mm. Mostly I film videos so I don’t know If an other lens would work better or if i have to change something in the settings/ way I work…?
what would you recommend ?
This video might help. ua-cam.com/video/mQ1-IIh_h60/v-deo.html
@@FulaanCreative Thank you🙏
Thanks for the recommendation. Great tips. But Aw, c'mon you know what makes the greatest cinamatographer/photographer; he/she who has the most equipment - just ask all those you tuber "how to" equipment sales people... (Like Mark W, among many others, for instance)
Please reply to me fast ! 15 30 F2.8 tamron lens work perfectly with Canon r7 ? I know if attached with full frame lens with crop body, mm is multiple with x1.6 crop factor. If i attach ed 15mm with my r7. It looks like 24m. But its okay for. I think so 24m is enough to wide for me. But i want to know. Its absolutely work fine or not ?
It needs an adapter but it should work fine. I have used it with the r10 but not R7 as i don't own it.
Link tamron 10-50 f2.8 not go to lens
Thanks for letting me know. I appreciate that!
New sub here
Thanks! Welcome aboard.
I like how your 24p footage looks smooth, unlike others' that look choppy. Do you mind telling me what codec you finalize in, what shutter speed you use, whether you record true 24p or 23.976, and if you match your editing/project settings to that recording rate or not? Also, any other pertinent information in the chain between cam setup and final upload would be useful. I really would like to be able to understand how to prevent choppy crappy 24p footage so I can help others who HAVE footage like that.
Thanks! The camera is set at 23.97 and the playback on resolve is set at 23.976. The codec is IPB. I just add my luts and do some basic color grading/correction and export at h.264 and 23.976 resolution 3840x2160 mab kb/s set to 95000.
@@FulaanCreative Damn, I was hoping H.265 was the answer... Do you think you could look at literally any of the footage from a channel called "Grind Hard Plumbing Co" and tell me why their 24p looks choppy?
@@Drunken_Hamster some if it looks normal other parts look a little strange but I'm not sure if it's because you mentioned it or if I would have noticed either way. It reminds me of some footage which I shoot in 60 fps for slow motion but then decide I want to use at normal speed. Or it could be that the shutter speed was off. Not sure exactly.
@@FulaanCreative See, with the shutter speed argument, I don't get it, because I've come across other channels with choppy 24 like that, and I KNOW they're using the 180-deg BS because they're filmmaker-style channels like yours! It's really driving me up a wall...
@@Drunken_Hamster most certainly because their shutter speed was too slow. I.e, they filmed at 24fps with a shutter of less than 1/48 like 1/20 or 1/30. I can almost promise you that’s why it’s missing frames.
Script writer and author wanting to get into episodes looking into a team so it can get done.
I aspire to not have GAS. Im begining to think I'm more of a collector than anything else.
Your not the only one. Once you realize it though you can keep it in check and make sure you go out and practice instead of focusing on the latest and greatest gear.
@@FulaanCreative so true. Thanks :) !
Awesome Fulaan!
