Hi, Thank you for reaching out with your question regarding the instruction manual. Wall cups, also known as mounting cups or wall cups, are typically used with pressure-mounted baby gates, especially when installing them at the top of stairs. These cups are designed to provide additional stability and prevent the gate from slipping or dislodging from the wall surface. You can refer to the pressure-mounted installation video tutorial available at the following link for detailed guidance: ua-cam.com/video/7GT7fPCc82M/v-deo.html. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please feel free to let us know. Best regards, BABELIO
@@Babeliobaby1 I don’t have the pressure mounted baby gate. I have the one shown in this video. Does it not need wall cups? Also, is there a way to modify the gate such that it can only open in one direction?
@@onlywei Thank you for your inquiry regarding the baby gate shown in the video. You are correct in your understanding that this particular model does not require wall cups for installation. As for modifying the gate to open only in one direction, it is indeed possible. You can achieve this by installing a small part at the front or back of both the upper and lower latches. This part acts as a stopper to limit the gate's swing to a single direction. However, I must inform you that this specific part is not included with the gate and will need to be sourced independently. You can typically find such components at hardware stores or online retailers specializing. Best regards, BABELIO
Good video thanks
Great video. Perhaps put a QR code in the manual to take you to this video. This person did a great job.
What size drill bit should you be using?
To install the hardware, you should use a 6mm drill bit for proper fitting.
The instruction manual says to use “wall cups” at the top of stairs… what the heck are “wall cups”??
