Mike and Frank made the show I love it. But mike was always a spotlight seeker. It’s frustrating I’ve never missed an episode but it seems like mike wanted frank out. Frank has a stomach disease and had back surgery. Look into it. Covid and back issues forced or pushed history to write him out.
Mike Wolfe ORIGINATED the show. Fritz, a high school friend, clung to his coattails. Jersey John is a huge improvement because, unlike Frank, he knows what he's talking about.
Spending all that time together I’m sure you’d get annoyed at each other. Sadly it destroyed their friendship. Hopefully they can put it behind them. I do feel theirs enough room for Frank to have his own show instead of everything going Mikes way and bringing his Bro in while Franks on the outside looking in. That’s only going to create more tension
long time watcher of the show. Human nature just gets in the way ,could be why there are so many devorses among people who really do stillcare for each other.
I finally watched a season 20 episode. In it fritz refers to the non silent rides and you could tell the working relationship had declined. I was lookin for it!
Just "back surgery"? Right... Frank admitted to checking into rehab in '20 and wasn't sober until '21. It's obvious his addiction was the main issue and had probably been a nuisance for some time until it reached a head. Frank isn't doing himself any favors by refusing to take responsibility and instead trying to play the victim and turn fans against Mike.
@JAg You are one of the closest to what is franks real problem...I did month's of research on what really happened & why frank was terminated. I just left a comment above about what...where & why frank is where he is today. It's all there & can be found on public court records etc.
I am 80 years old and these people have been around for years and years I remember them even when I was a kid but they don’t call them pickers they are junk dealers and they buy anything and live right in the middle of it they have one great big junk pile they change the name of it so it would have some soft language and sound better
frank is a loser and will always be a loser, until he kicks the bad habits, or he'll be dead. Then he'll be a dead loser, come on frank, kick the bad habits, and show them what you're truly made of. Would like to be able, to spell your name, with a capital F, instead of a f.
Sorry but I don't miss frank at all. And if you watch back thru all the shows you can see that a lot of the people being picked didn't like frank to much.
@@yeezuscrust9630 I will post it wherever the hell I feel like. It was posted on 3 videos. No one commented on it on any of the videos I looked at. So I was the first to comment on it. I hope to aggravate you some more with my future posts.
I liked the show with AL Plum in.Rodchester NY ! Now that man has Real integrity and is a real business man .I know personally and spent a lot of time building other people with him.His true nature was to give back to his community like he did in that show with the fire station.
Mike is a pretty genuine guy and I always had this weird feeling about Frank which I do believe is why this situation came about.Frank has a chip on his shoulder simply because Mike is very knowledgeable and he’s more of a leader rather than a follower unlike Frank. His personality was more like, yes just getting the stuff on the cheap and I’m not gonna pay top dollar whether I’m taking the customer for a ride or not..Mike’s brother is genuine also and he definitely adds more character
There are many rumors which point to both people being the problem, but i think they reach a point of no return now. I love the early pickers season, especially that episode where they search for nascar historical stuffs.
Mike wanted his brother on the show so was pushing Frank out for some time , pretty slime ball 💩 but you can tell Mike's the kind of guy you don't trust.
I get the feeling its Mikes way or the highway and he seems condescending and rude towards Franky but rarely does someone start their own highly successful business and tv show without having some arrogance, intensity and self serving adjendas. I Still like him but im sure it would be intense working with him. Frank and Mike are both cool. Its a big shame.
Watch the first 3 seasons of AM Pic, (2010) The humble sincere Mike, then watch the last 3 seasons, of Am Pic. (2020-22) when Fritz left the show. Watch Mike Wolf's attitude and phoniness of the sincere Mike & the humility, in the beginning, the humble Mike vs the sometimes insincere arrogant Mike lately. He has lost interest in the pics and goes to give his bro a shot at picking and fame, but it's not even close to Frank & Mike who were complete opposites, completely different people, and that is what was so cool about the show. Mike doesn't get it or he does and doesn't care, I think the later
Yeah, you're right! Sometimes opposites that are friends, that have a blowout, and have to work together, have to put on that Ozzie & Harriet attitude for the camera(Hollywood limelight attitude). I think Mike's trying hard not to lose a good thing, kinda like the way Rick from American Restoration lost his show. The history Channel are heartless business corporate sociopaths, and can put a number one show out to dry without even having any kind pity emotion for whom they're destroying. Mike's probly trying really hard to use everyone of his tricks, and Motivation Tape lesson's to apply to the Human Resources Dept, for the sake of his television career.
I'm a viewer, and don't think the show *needs* Frank. Both Frank and Mike were mean to each other, and one had to go. If Mike had to go, many people would call Frank the bully. The show was much more than the two guys. It's mostly about American history - would you rather watch shows like Ancient Aliens? I'm sure the Entertainment Industry would like that, but I say no thanks.
Frank’s Cat died & he went on a Bender , so instead of helping him Mike saw it as opportunity to go solo on Pickers .. doesn’t sound like a good mate to me.
omg! How did you find out Frankie's cat died? No wonder he went on a bender, he adored his big fat cat, I remember a show when he had to leave because his cat was sick, Mike seemed ok about it, but maybe he began plotting to get rid of Frank then. The show has lost its soul without Frank, all is left is Mike's over inflated egomania, only bearable when he had "little frankie" with him.
I tend to agree if you're around someone for a long period of time you tend to need a little space I would like to have thought that they would take a little time away from each other so they can appreciate each other's friendship I will miss Frank
First of all everything is scripted on that show. 2nd? Mike Wolfe is the creator of the show who spent a few years trying to sell it to various networks when A&E signed Wolfe's idea for their History Channel. 3rd?? Mike Wolfe is the Executive Producer of the show. His brainchild idea, owner of the show. No one knows what happened behind the scenes of the first 9-10 yrs of the show w/Frank Fritz alcoholism. Just like a failed marriage due to alcoholism or an Employer dealing with an alcoholic employee, you can only take so much. If I owned a successful top watched TV Show that I created and developed, I wouldn't let anyone "Frank Fritz" or anything "alcoholic employee" ruin it. No "friggin" way!
I didn't care for Frank because I felt he treated people like they were stupid. He acted as if he knew everything and sorry to say he is no genius by no means.such as one old man with a ton of NOS vintage toys n original boxes.Frank proceeded to convince the old fella the toys were junk and really worthless. he bought them all though for 3 bucks each without any remorse of ripping the old fella off.NOT COOL.Did like the show though for awhile.
Us fans will all never really know the truth, Sadly Mike and Frank are better together than apart. They both made the show what it is. The show simply isn’t the same without Frank. I can imagine all the traveling, Schedules the strain it could put on a relationship. Positive note apparently they’re on better terms again but the sad part is Frank suffered a stroke which he needs assistance living.
I met Mike and Frank in Beaver Dam Ky in 2019. Mike was very outgoing and friendly. Frank on the other hand was ready to rush, unlike Mike. I did take a photo with them and 5 other photos of their first van with the big lips sticker on it.
That's always the impression that I got Franks always in a hurry he suffered from the delusion that he had somewhere important to go, he never knew where it was.
Show business isn't for everyone. It's funny how friends can turn against one another. you were the star of the show Frank and we miss you already. Danielle got divorced from someone who loved her but could not put up with the billboard of tattoos and her sanctimonious attitude. God bless you Frank we miss you.
@James Latimer Yeah frank can talk about. how he got so drunk & popped a couple of Oxy's & was going down the wrong way endangering the lives of a family member...an entire family or even a van full of children returning from a sporting event by a very hi chance of hitting them head on. Luckily the he was stopped before he did & was arrested then he wanted the history channel & it's producer's to sweep it under the rug & hide it from fan's. But fortunately the history channel & it's producer's realized frank wasn't going to change after numerous DUI's & refusing every intervention they offered him to go to rehab. So by the history channel & the producer's firing frank for testing positive for Oxycotin alcohol in that DUI going down the wrong way on a busy freeway where he could killed numerous innocent people. They for sure saved lives & frank from a lengthy prison sentence & from any future vehicular homicide chargers by frank having his drivers license suspended for 8 year's. If the history channel & their producer's just swept it under the rug like frank begged them to do & frank ended up getting drunk & abusing Oxycotin driving down the wrong way on a busy freeway again & that time hitting a vehicle head on killing a parent...parents & their entire family with children or a van full of children returning from a sporting event. Everyone of franks pitty party bandwagon would blame the history channel & their producer's for not taking action because they knew frank is an alcoholic & drug abuser. I'm going to stand by the history channel & their producer's for making the correct decision by firing frank. Frank made his bed & now he has to lay in it...hes just very fortunate it's not a bed in a prison cell. Mike never pulled franks cover about all of this...out of the friendship he has for frank. But frank still continues to blaame other's & not once accepted the responsibility for his own destruction of his life. That's a very sad way to live the rest of your life.
WOW ! ! THIS JUST SHOWS HOW FRIENDSHIPS CAN DISSOLVE. AMERICAN PICKERS IS STILL BETTER VIEWING TELEVISION THAN 80 % OF THE OTHER GARBAGE THAT'S CHURNED OUT. I'M NOT PICKING SIDES - - I LIKE BOTH OF THEM 😊
So we're to believe he was fired for complaining about the show's creator and producer talking on the phone too much on multi-hour driving trips? Lmao. The entire show is edited and the scenes they show were put there DELIBERATELY. Here's a question. If Mike's in the business of selling antiques, then why is it that their online store only features promotional hats and tee shirts, but not a single product?

Lastly, lots has been said, suggested etc, about your health, I hope you recover from your physical problems soon, and, if drinking hard became an anaesthetic for pain, physically, mentally and spiritually, then I highly recommend that you reach out to AA
I had my first sober day on August 6th 1993, and just one day at a time, I'm still going.
Forgive me for suggesting AA, for I do not know you personally, but from what I see of you on tv, you come across as genuine and loving.
I can see your show now, proud and sober, and introducing the world to the America we love, eccentric, inventive, bizarre and fascinating.
Showing us the 'who, where, when, how' of America's inventions would be perfect.
So, there you go, another tv show idea!
Good luck Frankie, I will miss seeing and hearing you, (won't watch Am Piks anymore, won't be the same without you) but look forward to seeing new shows hosted by you!
Good on ya mate!
You have lots of loving fans 'Down Under'!
regards,
jay
Mike and Frank made the show I love it. But mike was always a spotlight seeker. It’s frustrating I’ve never missed an episode but it seems like mike wanted frank out. Frank has a stomach disease and had back surgery. Look into it. Covid and back issues forced or pushed history to write him out.
Mike Wolfe ORIGINATED the show. Fritz, a high school friend, clung to his coattails. Jersey John is a huge improvement because, unlike Frank, he knows what he's talking about.
Even though the shows dying without frank
The show SUCKS without frank.. I no longer watch it.. And won't unless frank comes back..
Robbie sucks
Well Jack if I was
frank aND they offered me the show back would give them.the finger real quick
Franks the nice guy
Wolfes 'the dirty prick
Glad he's off the show, he was not a favorite of ours, he was all about himself.
Network really messed this show up! Frank is not replaceable. Without Frank, show doesn’t work.
I liked Frank. Best wishes Frank.
@JAg
You are one of the closest to what is franks real problem...I did month's of research on what really happened & why frank was terminated.
I just left a comment above about what...where & why frank is where he is today.
It's all there & can be found on public court records etc.
RIP FRANK
I am 80 years old and these people have been around for years and years I remember them even when I was a kid but they don’t call them pickers they are junk dealers and they buy anything and live right in the middle of it they have one great big junk pile they change the name of it so it would have some soft language and sound better
Extremely sad to see Frank gone. You are one of a kind Frank in a very good way. We all have some hurdles to over come. I won't speak ill of Mike but it's easy to see some things about him that are not exactly at or where they should be. I am going to screenshot this comment immediately upon posting it because I have the name for Frank's new hit show where he's the boss. It's Copyright 2022 ©Fritz-Pickin's! ©
Comment if you'd like. Love ya Frank!
Why it's so sad when the history channel & their producer's got a drunk drug abuser off the street & positively saved lives.
frank is a loser and will always be a loser, until he kicks the bad habits, or he'll be dead. Then he'll be a dead loser, come on frank, kick the bad habits, and show them what you're truly made of. Would like to be able, to spell your name, with a capital F, instead of a f.
wtf are you yammering about???
Like the show, they’re both cool and they both make the show
As long as we don’t have to see Dani trying to negotiate. Every price they throw at her, she says “ok, that seems fair”.
Sorry but I don't miss frank at all. And if you watch back thru all the shows you can see that a lot of the people being picked didn't like frank to much.
Frank & Mark 🌹 Greetings From Finland 🐾🤔
Frank Fritz has suffered a stroke and is in the hospital. I sincerely hope he will get well.
yeah we know that , no need to post it on almost every video 🙄
@@yeezuscrust9630 I will post it wherever the hell I feel like. It was posted on 3 videos. No one commented on it on any of the videos I looked at. So I was the first to comment on it. I hope to aggravate you some more with my future posts.
It's actually funny now 🤣
Frank was the heart and soul of the show and why most people watch it in the first place an mike just cant stand that
That girl covered the tattoos is absolutely disgusting.
Bonsoir j aiment cette émission je vous suis tt les jours très super bravo et bonne continuation à vous tous .France Avignon
I liked the show with AL Plum in.Rodchester NY ! Now that man has Real integrity and is a real business man .I know personally and spent a lot of time building other people with him.His true nature was to give back to his community like he did in that show with the fire station.
I liked Frank. I'm sorry that he's no longer with the show. It won't be the same without him. And Frank, you were OUR favorite : )
I watched an episode where he tried to low-ball someone...
We all do
Mike is a pretty genuine guy and I always had this weird feeling about Frank which I do believe is why this situation came about.Frank has a chip on his shoulder simply because Mike is very knowledgeable and he’s more of a leader rather than a follower unlike Frank. His personality was more like, yes just getting the stuff on the cheap and I’m not gonna pay top dollar whether I’m taking the customer for a ride or not..Mike’s brother is genuine also and he definitely adds more character
Don’t watch the show since frank left. Not the same feeling to it.
Frank is King...😃🇭🇲
Mike pulled a power move since he helped create the show...... I think Mike was lusting for Danielle imo.
Frank was a jerk. People who were selling their stuff didn't like to work with him. He was so mean, he degraded people.
Everyone except Frank was buttering Danielle's muffin. So Frank left looking for some bearded clam while Danielle & Mike each were divorced.
@@paulceniceros5514 he's got alimony & child support too... besides his EX owns the TN Store now
That's what I noticed too.
The viewers make or break a show and the viewers want Frank. The show is doomed to failure because it will no longer get the ratings it used to.
Fuck cats. Get a dog
I think Mike is an ass hat. We love you Frank Fritz. You were the star of the show.
Sad to see Frank f go!! He was great on show sadly miss!!!
he was the guy you loved to dislike, made the pick interesting, cheap and a used car salesman if there ever was one.
I tend to agree if you're around someone for a long period of time you tend to need a little space I would like to have thought that they would take a little time away from each other so they can appreciate each other's friendship I will miss Frank
Bring Frank back!
He will be missed RIP 😔😔😭😔😔😭😔😔😭😔😔😭😔😔😭😔😔😭😔😔😭😔😔😭😔😔😭😔😔😭😔😔😭
I don't mind that's he's gone I never liked frank to start with.
Frank should have his own show
I met Mike and Frank in Beaver Dam Ky in 2019. Mike was very outgoing and friendly. Frank on the other hand was ready to rush, unlike Mike. I did take a photo with them and 5 other photos of their first van with the big lips sticker on it.
You'd be in a rush to, if you were about ready to crap yourself, again the booze.
That's always the impression that I got Franks always in a hurry he suffered from the delusion that he had somewhere important to go, he never knew where it was.
I've heard F.F.can be difficult.
Sad he had the health issues.
Hope he's doing good.
I could sense the friction between the two just watching a few episodes.
Mike always considered himself as Batman, and Frank was his sidekick Robin.
Maybe Frank shouldn't drive drunk going down the wrong way on a highway. Just a thought. Not good for business.
So is this a German TV show? Just noticed all of the names.
Frank has since passed away..R.I.P. Frank Fritz..
Show business isn't for everyone. It's funny how friends can turn against one another. you were the star of the show Frank and we miss you already. Danielle got divorced from someone who loved her but could not put up with the billboard of tattoos and her sanctimonious attitude. God bless you Frank we miss you.
A negative component of a great show. About time.
Love the show American pickers. Big fan of Mike but not so much frank.
R.I.P. Frank Fritz.
I bet Frank didn't mind any of the profit he may have made through Mike's long phone callery.
It's like when Charlie sheen left two and a half men you can replace them but it'll never work
It's always about the MONEY $$😎👍🏻
People do have ..what I call work talk..means nothing..the respect has to out shine all that..try not to burn bridges
Frank make your own show buddy your badd ass man !!
@James Latimer
Yeah frank can talk about. how he got so drunk & popped a couple of Oxy's & was going down the wrong way endangering the lives of a family member...an entire family or even a van full of children returning from a sporting event by a very hi chance of hitting them head on.
I'M NOT PICKING SIDES - - I LIKE BOTH OF THEM 😊
Talking on the phone in front of other people is RUDE.
THANK YOU
@@yourmommashouse 👍
There were several shows where Mike bullies Frank. I don't watch any longer
Frank's gone now they can shuv the show now with out frank the shows stupid
Frank was awesome and I'm watching it on tv right now it's the 32 ford roadster one
The show is dead to me until Frank is back. He was well more than half of the show that I used to enjoy and will not until Frank is back.!!!
I am sure I read somewhere that FF had Krones (Crones?) disease and was ill..this being the reason for his disappearance..
He shits himself all the time, that's gotta have made those long road trips a bit uncomfortable once he'd laid one of his fresh steamy loaves.
Without Frank , Wolfe is way to annoying and unlikable, his brother is a sorry replacement for Frank. If Frank does get a show , I will for sure be supporting it.
Get well soon Frank !
I used to watch American Pickers but when Frank left the show I haven’t watched it since, Frank was the show.
Mike isn't all that great ! Frank made the show.
Mike always seemed like he thought he was better than Frank and you could tell.
Frank,,my man,,,only Mike wants to be like Mike,,God speed man
