Its sad to see people like Frank that bring excitement and preservation to American history for generations to enjoy! Prayers and support for the family and friends 🙏 RIP Frank Fritz
I've been watching this show since it came on. To me, this is a prime example of why friends should probably never go into business together. Money causes nothing but problems. And if you don't believe me, just look at all the billionaires, they aint trying to share s***.. I've asked this question several times and I've always got the same answer, but I'll put it out there now. When is having enough money enough?
Frank was the one who made it special ever time we watched and most of all the most genuine person on the entire show !!!!!!!! Steven and Tammy from Connecticut
RIP frank. We all die. You did well. My fear in death is I’ll be forgotten and you will not be. You’ve made your mark. You are just as important and remebered
Everybody is gonna die ENJOY the ride and he seem to do just that ! RIP Frank ❤ Always remember "Mike" what comes around goes around!! You never know what's around your corner ..
Alcoholism is a tricky pill to swallow... To those of us who know, that know , Frank Was part of car, auto, bike American History, We all could be better people if we were a lil like Frank. Rip lil buddy.
It's terribly sad he had to go through that. FYI-NO picker/dealer goes on the hunt with someone who's looking for the same things. RIP Frank,God 's speed.🙏🏿🙏🏿
Just a few things to consider to help round out the whole story! I've seen many videos "trying" to tell the dynamics that took place between Mike and Frank. 1) American Pickers is Mike Wolf's creation. The show belongs to him. He is the one who pitched it to the network and got it picked up. So that makes him the one up front and leader. 2). Mike and Frank, friends since grade school. Frank being an alcoholic, Mike somewhat of an enabler. The relationship was a co-dependant, somewhat symbiotic, friendship that most likely grew to an uncomfortable strain, especially for Mike . You see, most times we alcoholics and addicts will simply just wear out our main support system... completely out. Used up I guess. 3). I don't know Mike personally, but I'll bet anything he had to draw a line , set boundaries, hence Frank being fired. From what I've read, it was always something...... When one has Crohn's disease, and they choose to not stop or at least try to stop drinking, the Crohn's gets really bad. I also read that while they were on the road, they would have to make so many allowances for Frank just to get a complete episode filmed. So I'm sure the crew and Mike started feeling used up and just sick and tired of enabling Frank. Probably feeling like they were helping him k¡// himself. Line drawn= fired! 3). Speaking from personal experience, I've done similar acts to my family. Manipulation is what we do best to be able to continue to use. I may be way off with this scenario, however I'd be willing to bet that I'm much closer to the truth than any of these videos thus far. They never tell the whole story, making The Wolf out to be cold hearted. I don't believe that for one minute. After all, Mike is the shows creator. So ultimately he has the last word. I actually would hate to have been put in the position he's been in for many yrs now. Any tension that showed between them is understandable if you put yourself in the enabler family dynamic. The guilt would be crippling at the very least. This is my take on the subject IMHO! #wedorecover #relapseisnecessary4recovery. 4). #RIPFRANK 5).#MUCHLOVEMIKEWOLF 💜🫶🏼💜 ❤️🇺🇲💙 💜✝️💜 💙🙏🏼💙
And I will never watch the show again. ( unless it's a rerun with Frank in it ) Mike is snake for not calling Frank when he was down. I know. I have or should I say I had a best friend once too. He never called when I was down with back problems. I eliminated him from my life and feel so much better. My friend is a snake too ! 😅
As a Dealer, I can tell you they weren't getting the amount of money they told you on the show. They picked my friend's hardware store and only bought 1 thing. They wanted you to essentially give them some ridiculously cheap price. Not one Dealer I've ever known would sell something so cheap when they knew it was worth much much more. We could ALWAYS tell that Mike was one of those "better than you" people. It became more obvious when they opened the store in Nashville. Too bad! The prices of their merchandise in Nashville was extremely overpriced. Maybe they could get that in LA or NYC, but not in Nashville, even with the tourists.
Forever gone but never forgotten. Loved the show. You did what you loved! Keep picking!

Great insight I really enjoyed reading it and to me it seems closer to the truth than what many of these types of videos say to us thanks for posting

He should have took better care of himself. Sad
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I liked Frank better as time went on! Moke got very full of himself!!!!!
I liked everyone on this great show
He was the straw that stirred the drink.. I don't watch the show anymore
Frank was making too many crooked transactions
That greedy looser Mike Wolfe could have help him out but nope greed gets the better of some people.
I wonder if he took the miracle jab.
I have lost a few people, and 2 who now have heart conditions. And 1 with turbo cancer.
Used to be a good show , it sucks now
That show sucks without frank. I hat that Daniel she sucks.
