"Mommy I love you. Don't let Spock take me to the future!" Holy cow how is Sheldon always so incredibly weird but adorable all the time?!? HE IS SO FREAKING CUTE!!!!!!!
I actually did something like this when i was in school, like when i was 6-7 years old, we practiced for a drama in which the mother of my character dies and in the middle of the death scene i started crying nonstop and they literally had to call my mother from work to calm me down. And my friends made sure that I won't forget this ever in my life.
BorisCr....... *Why don't Sheldon TRY to actually understand his mother and the reason she believes in Mother Mary's Son: Jesus Christ (if ANYONE hates Jesus...they HATE His Mother).*
its what the actor Jim parsons does so well because normally the audience would hate sheldon for his condesension towards others and his ego but Jim can also act out the scenes where sheldon is socially damaged and adds the innocence of a kid, its what makes Sheldon a great character and Jim a great actor (the guy has won a golden globe and 2 emmys i mean he deserves it)
I'm sixth generation Texan, you putz. Obviously you haven't since you are unfamiliar with the Baptist tradition of pretending that you don't drink and hiding your booze from your holier-than-thou wife and neighbors. You obviously missed the point that we don't drink Pepsi in Texas. We drink coke or Dr Pepper. Now take your pseudo-Ron Swanson, neck-bearded, couldn't-handle-Scotch-whisky-neat-if-you-tried ass back down in your mama's basement where you belong.
***** FYI, Buck Rogers, I was born in Abilene, TX, and have been back many times since as I have family in both the Dallas and Fort Worth area as well as Houston.
Everyone thinks this scene is funny but to me it's extremely emotional. For kids who grew up different than their peers and misunderstood by their parents feel a kind of rejection that can do irreversible damage to your mind. Sorry to kill the mood. :( We love you Shelly-bean!
There are just so many great scenes in this show. This is probably my second favorite after the Christmas show when Penny gave Sheldon the napkin autographed by Leonard Nimoy. Any of the guest spots by Wil Weaton are great shows too.
*Lieutenant Commander Spock's response to Sheldon's emotional outburst: "Excuse me young Master Sheldon, why are you reacting in this manner? I must say, it's highly illogical!"*
I love this scene because it's the only one when things get a bit serious and we get to see the inner Sheldon, his childhood issues for real. That's what I love in shows like MASH, The Office or Louie. BBT is a different story, it's strictly entertaining without a real life-like emotions. I love BBT but that's just the facts.
Late, late comment, but... Yeah, the laugh track got real obnoxious at times. Kind of like how the MCU tries to insert jokes unnecessarily into tense or dramatic moments.
Even though his mom is so religious and he doesn't believe in God, I love how he and his mom have a great relationship and he loves her dearly!
I think it's based on real life
if you dig this relationship, go check out Young Sheldon.
such a mama's boy lol
I'm an Atheist my mom is religious, there are many scenes we can connect to in tbbt
You should watch Young Sheldon
His Texas accent really comes out when he's upset doesn't it lol.
Evan T c'mon say it!

"Mommy I love you. Don't let Spock take me to the future!" Holy cow how is Sheldon always so incredibly weird but adorable all the time?!? HE IS SO FREAKING CUTE!!!!!!!
"I think I broke your son"
"Have you tried turning it off and on again?"
"Only Amy can do that. Or Leonard, I'm not sure."
"Have you tried turning it off and on again?"
"I CAN TURN HIM OFF AND YOU TELL IT TO ME NOW?!"
Turn him on.... this'll be hard.
I imagine Roy from The IT Crowd saying that.
@@ScrewTikTok I see what you did there 😂😂🤓😏
OMG! Its just so cute when he said: Mommy, I love you, :D

It's understandable. Even grown and seasoned actors have to take breaks after emotionally taxing scenes.
Gaming Rebels You cared about your mom. That’s a good thing.
Bro I shit my pants during a kindergarten play
No shame in crying over a mother's death. Sometimes I used to have bad dreams of family members dying. Woke up bawling.
Is okay.
Sheldon wrote a self-insert fanfictions omg
An X READER!!!!
And the plot is good!!
I loved how sheldon expressed his inner child and yet still reasoned like a scientist
"george put down that pepsi can full of burbon that aint fooling no one and get your shot gun!" lmao!!
who didnt wanna go hug sheldon when started crying
HIs greatest wish would be, although he'll never admit it in public, to be understood by his mother...

Mother does exist and Jesus don't
They have to when dealing with Sheldon. She's the only one who can deal with his "quirkiness"
"mommy I love you, dont let spock take me to the future!"
"Im gunna miss you Shelly even though you creep the bugeeses outta me" XD
"Mommy I love you
Don't let Spock take me to the future"
Awn Shelly, u can be so sweet when u want !!! XD
Hey Mrs. Cooper? I think I broke your son
Best. Line. Ever
Penny and Sheldon interactions are the sweetest thing since the few episodes were Tom and Jerry are working together, and they are also my favorites.
This hits me profoundly since it manifests enormous feelings of separation anxiety.

I wish we could see a flashback to when he was a kid. Little Shelly, lol.
Stephen R Hello from the future. There's a whole show now about young Sheldon.
Holy shit dude, you called it.
That's some freaky shit yo. How did you know....?
Be careful what you wish for!
Wish granted, now we can watch "The young Sheldon" wait, does that mean you predicted the future, 4 years ago?😃😲
Shelly Bean XD
aaaw :) one of his few adorable moments
shelly, a man is here to take you away to the future! jajajajja
I'm afraid that nudge would be too large.
"Even though you creep the bejeezus out of me"
"George, put down that Pepsi can of bourbon and get your shotgun!" Lol, I love it how he says "George" when he is talking like his mom.
"Mrs. Cooper? Hey, it's Penny. I think I broke your son"
"Mommy, I love you! Don't let Spock take me to the future!"
I'm gonna start saying that to my mum XD
He's from Texas. It should have been a Coke can full of bourbon, not Pepsi.
Or better yet, a Dr. Pepper can.

@@saltytrey jeez mate was that REALLY necessary?
Sheldon and penny have a cutie friendship it's best this way
Everyone thinks this scene is funny but to me it's extremely emotional. For kids who grew up different than their peers and misunderstood by their parents feel a kind of rejection that can do irreversible damage to your mind.
Sorry to kill the mood. :(
We love you Shelly-bean!
This is so priceless I’ll never get tired of laughing at this scene. Hehe
Is it definitely plugged in?
Penny's very good at playing Spock. She's got it down to a fine art. I'm surprised how well Sheldon plays his mother. I wasn't expecting that.
"I think i broke your son" lol i think he was already broken
There are just so many great scenes in this show. This is probably my second favorite after the Christmas show when Penny gave Sheldon the napkin autographed by Leonard Nimoy. Any of the guest spots by Wil Weaton are great shows too.
"I'm just incredibly smart, and everyone around here's dumber than a bag of rocks." It cracks me up everytime.😂😂😂
"even though it creeps the begeesus out of me!" LOL
Sheldon is actually a really good actor playing his mother
Aw that would have been the perfect time to hug him Penny! Even if it would have freaked him out a bit lol
Mommy i love you....Don't let the spock take me to future... How Adorable is that???
i know it was supposed to be funny and sad but he's crying is so cute
*Lieutenant Commander Spock's response to Sheldon's emotional outburst: "Excuse me young Master Sheldon, why are you reacting in this manner? I must say, it's highly illogical!"*
He's such an amazing actor!!!!!!!!
I just love it when Sheldon says Mommy I love you don't let Spock take me to the Future
lmao awwwww that was cute. Penny,"Hello Mrs. Cooper I think I broke your son." funny as hell.
"even tho u creep the bejeezuss outs me" x)))
This is comedic acting at the highest level. Pure Class.
Now that's what you call real acting 👏👏
I now hear sheldon's part as young sheldon's mom!
Shelly's so sweet...he loves his mom so much
Looking at it today, he sounds just like Mary from Young Sheldon
I love this scene because it's the only one when things get a bit serious and we get to see the inner Sheldon, his childhood issues for real. LMFAO!!!
"George! Put that can of pepsi full of bourbon down that you ain't fooling anybody!" LOL!
Has anybody noticed that papers in their hand are blank??🙄🤣
It is called *acting* ;p
Penny's transporter impersonation is the best!
I love how casually penny calls Sheldon's mom and tells her Ms Copper I think I broke your son
Normally I don't repeat stuff from the vid but that one was too funny to resist
I suppose I have a thing for weird nerdy guys.. Sheldon Cooper gets more and more adorable every second despite his odd behaviour.. Gaah, I love him..
That must be one of the very few episodes I didn't see. Can't imagine why/how I missed it.
I love when sheldon expresses passionate emotions!!!
It's filmed live in front of an audience. People apparently find Sheldon's tragedy amusing.
Late, late comment, but...
Yeah, the laugh track got real obnoxious at times. Kind of like how the MCU tries to insert jokes unnecessarily into tense or dramatic moments.
shelldon actually crying makes me wanna cry!! :'( brilliant acting. i love jim parsons! :D
What have I just witnessed
the improvisation part is amazing!
"Hello? Mrs. Cooper? I think I broke your son."
XD that was hilarius!
Don't let Spock take me to the future. kkkkk
Awww, Sheldon needs a hug!
"Cause I'm gonna miss you Shelly-bean, even though you creep the bugeeses out of me?" LOL! :)
I haven't seen my mom in months...this brought a tear to my eye
"Hey Mrs Cooper this is Penny. I think I broke your son..." I literally died ^^
Thats hilarious . Im still laughing out loud ! =)
Very rare to see an incredible scientist so emotional internally
theres a blooper where penny does the star trek greeting wrong and the audience and sheldon flip out lol
Seriously the best BBT scene ever! "I think I broke your son..."
He is a genius!
I think she had Sheldon's mother on speed dial for an emergency like this lol.
Jim Parson is a great actor, we love him
Aww Sheldon can be so adorable when he wants to
this is one of my FAVORITE EPISODES!!!! It's second only to the 'Christmas' episode!!!!
What's cool is that she pulled off the Vulcan greeting with epicness....
It's fascinating that Penny can do the teleporter sound effects.
Hang on - was that a tear Penny was wiping away from her eye? AWWWW
I love that Sheldon's kryptonite is his mother.
I'd also like to add that being like a talking Mr Bean is not a bad thing.
Sheldons depiction of Mary is spot on
"Mummy, I love you!!! Please don't let Spock take me to the future" LOVE IT!! =]
Penny struggled with the Vulcan salute....
oh just imagine the look on Mrs. Cooper's face.
0:40 There was a scene where Penny holds out her hand as Spock. She somewhat made a blooper out of it, but she corrects it.
i died at "i think i broke your son" XD
Awww poor Shelley-bean! I just want to hug him!! :)
sheldon is the most funniest, smart and regulary tells his friends that he is right and other times his friends disagree on things sheldon says.
Only sheldon can be a smug & cute at the same time
''Mommy,I love you!''
01:48 onwards - priceless
You have to wonder what Sheldon's mom is thinking when she gets that call.
This is one of my favorite episode's
"but then again, I am a religious nutt!"😂
I don’t think his dad’s shotgun has showed up in Young Sheldon yet.
"mommy I love you'...lol
“Just keep goween!” That would bug me even if she said it in the bedroom.
