Appreciate your review of these. Nice to get an Australian opinion. I am about to go tyre shopping today and you have confirmed my research. Greetings from Central West NSW.
Good review mate. I have done 60k on my wildpeaks and still have about half tread. Sees alot of off road abuse too issue free, not even a puncture. Few mates run them too and nothing but positive reviews, good price aswell.
@@Shanes_Shed the toyos are good tyres but just don't last!!! For the driving I do the wildpeaks are perfect!!! Alot of long highway trips and often hitting soft south west wa beaches, dunes and sometimes not so easy tracks to get there and not had an issue yet!! When these finally die will get more for sure, bloody things still got 8mm of tread left after 60k!!
Hey Shane, Thanks for putting these discovery videos up mate. I have these on my disco 3 aswell but running 265/60/18. I am happy with them and will be running them again when they need changing. Handle wet and dry conditions well on the bitumen which is 90% of my driving.
I need to do an update on these -its well overdue. Mine would have (off the top of my head) 60,000km+ on them now. Apart from some wear on the inside edges (alignment and not a fault of the tyre) the bulk of the tread still has 8mm depth. They are lasting very well. If they still have decent tread then I'd say its worth it (providing the price is right of course)

Thanks for taking the time to drop a comment. I’m glad the video has helped in your decision making. So far I’m still happy with the choice

I was keen to try something different after my last set of toyos, these turned out to be easy to get and reasonably priced.

I found the toyos to be below average in the wet which was the main reason I changed over. Didn't really have an issue with the tread life with them
Contemplating buying these for my 2001 SR5, I think you’ve made my mind up. Cheers
Glad it’s helped out. Thanks for taking the time to drop the comment.

No problem 👍Unfortunately I'm also spending most of the time on the bitumen, AT's I find to be the best compromise tyre
Take a drink every time this guy says “Uh” 😂 cheers mate 🍻
😄 Just don't operate heavy machinery after watching my videos
Seen a guy selling these with 50k on them but still look good. Still worth buying?

@Shanes_Shed nice I'm gonna check them out tomorrow cuz the tread looks good in picture. Guy is asking 400 for the pair of 4 without rims though.
Are these the LT? I have been told by a few disco owners that they bag out a lot under load. I’m tossing up these in LT against the Maxxis RZR AT.
Yes LT. I found the sidewalls are quite stiff, a lot more so than my previous Toyos
