Those mounting tabs for the condenser are only held by being “sandwiched” between the 2 pieces of metal (bracket & sheet metal), thus a “friction” type of mount ? I’d tap a hole through all layers and put in a screw or a rivet as extra measure, to prevent any shifting, or even work a bushing type of mount, if the condenser is sensitive to shock, if you go over a very bumpy surface, and it shakes more than Michael J Fox sitting on a laundry dryer ;). I’m surprised they do not include a washer kit with varying thickness of washers, so you don’t need to stack multiple washers, which I do not like, doesn’t look “professional”, but works. A gem of a vehicle like that deserves the best. Everyone I know who has installed such a kit ALWAYS needs to do the washer “stack” to meet correct lineup and geometry.
I note that you have a plastic fuel filter just before the carb on the pressure side. If that was to split as they are know to do, fire. It should be installed on the suck side of the pump. I have a friend that had one installed after the pump, it cracked and the car caught fire.
I like the look of that unit!
Nicely done man great job 😊😎😁
Nice video. I’m gonna install one of these kits on my 64 international c1000
Nice details. Thank you.
