I both look forward to and dread your updates on Wonka. I won't be able to stand seeing his good bye. He is such a beautiful soul and I am so glad you are making these because so many people don't know what happens for chemo for a pet. It gives people more insight, especially from a Vet's pov. I am also glad you are able to talk about and set lines for when is the right time to let go. So many people never know if they made the right choice as to when to let go of a loved one when they are sick, pet or no. Lots of love to the little guy and your family. I hope he continues to do well.
After 9:47 "Still on their meds and clearly not dead" would make a great song lyric. A bit later, "It's not fair that I can do this for other people and I can't do it for mine." Ouch, that is a tough place to be. Wish life didn't have to take this path for Wonka and y'all. But it is taking that path, so we wish you endurance, strength, and understanding, as y'all go along that path.

My husband's cat Titti never wanted to eat the same food multiple times in a row either; we were lucky that she liked the little cans of Fancy Feast and they weren't too bad in terms of the diet she needed (kidney failure and hyperthyroid). She lived for years being a grumpy, picky, demanding little beloved diva. May Wonka do the same.
