I had this game when I was 10!! I used to sneak it out at playtime in middle school. Memories... Thanks mate.

Damn, I had that exact handheld when I was a kid! I can still feel the rough power button/stick!

I once had a raft of handheld electronic games, and sold them all as a kid... like a dummy. LOL! These are relics now. Each one that still works is special. Good video Al!

Love this era of handheld games...red LED to VFD/LCD transition period was an awesome time for me, I still remember mechanical toys like Tomy's Pocket Racers/Rally with winding handle and moving magnets. Was actually thinking of doing a nice video on Astro Wars earlier this week (which is a bit of a clone of Moon Cresta) when one of my videos comments was about a time when VFD games were the must have thing, next technological breakthrough/cutting edge tech. I remember these, just seeing those orange buttons is enough. Battlestar Galactica game looked similar to this I remember thinking at the time. Very expensive now, don't know if I will buy any more now. Maybe I just get Firefox, but that Bambino Race and Chase one you did half a decade ago is awesome to look at.

I still have mine as part of my collection from back in the day. There is a way of maxing your score and getting the ‘letter scores’ pretty easily.
I was a little disappointed with this back in the day as it didn’t give the space invaders feel.
Much later I bought Entex’s Space Invader and it was
    Much better.
    Still this brings back memories.

I started off with Missle invaders, got bored of it after a week, too it back, added a bit more money, bought the white grandstand space invaders, got bored after a week, took it back, added more money and bought the top dog of the day.... Astro wars, never took it back, still in my parents loft somewhere.

I do enjoy seeing these older handheld games. It's kind of cool but having the fire button at the side there seems like a really bad design. I have never use anything like this being a 90s kid of course but I did have quite a few really cheap, rubbish, black and white tetris clone handhelds, they were quite fun, for about 5 minutes at least.
