I think Cher does this from performing with Sonny. She wants to connect to the person(s) she's performing with. And this is so wonderful to see. She understands that this more than her. Wonderful.

To be very honest with you, I know and knew many people involved with The Cher Show. I did not know that as far as the back up singers were concerned, there were 4 sisters. I always thought there were only 2 because Cher always worked with the same 2 ladies. This medley was the first and maybe only time that she had all 4 ladies perform with her at the same time! They were great. Loved that they all had the same hair-do. So 1970's !!! Lol
I’m so grateful that in these times we can look back at the wonderful work Cher has done over her career- so was so young here beating out the music 🎶 and bringing joy to all - she’s amazing!!! Thanks for posting these memories, they continue to delight 🎉 🎉. you rock Cher 😎🇦🇺

Please post the opening to your very last Cher Show where you open the show with "Georgia On My Mind" & "Sweet Georgia Brown". There are easily a million fans who would give anything to see this again plus the Cher Show Opening where you go down that runway singing "Take Me Home Country Roads". Fans from around this world are literally hoping that you will post this for us to see again. It can be your Christmas and Holiday present to all your fans who love you..... and I'm one of them!!!!!

@@jaywalker1843 Thanks for your support!! These requests that I made, people have wished them for years!! Keep in mind that these shows were aired only 1 time. Even when VH1 in the 90's aired some Cher Shows after editing the heck out of them, my selections were not a part of this. Legally there are no "musical right" issues with re-airing these particular requests. Die hard Cher fans all have the same thing in common. What's the most exciting part of every Cher Show? It's the opening every time! We all sat there staring at Cher in that single spotlight just waiting for her to rip off that cape to see the amazing Bob Mackie costume she was wearing as she begins that strut down her runway. After 47 years the episode where Cher starts the show singing "By Myself" was FINALLY seen for the 2nd time!! That song most of all would have had the biggest copyright issues. Well, it was aired, so no one can convince me that the 2 show openings I'd love to see again would have major problems. John Denver's "Take Me Home Country Roads" has issues??? NO WAY!! And the show opening with "Georgia On My Mind" (Last Cher Show she made)...... no way a problem. SO PLEASE air these for the people who have loved and followed your career from day 1 !!!!!

These "Cher" show videos are priceless. Cher's covers of these two hit songs are excellent, as are the many others she performed during the run of her solo show. Thank, God, someone had the good sense to preserve them. They still show well nearly 50 years since they were originally broadcast. 50 freaking years ago!
