      It makes sense tho? More fat that traditional brisket cuts. Japanese A5 makes no sense for a brisket as most of the fat would render away

      What would you call it if a few wagyu steers were sold to a company in Wyoming, who then bred them, and raised them on pressed olives in low stress environment..? Would that not bea sonewhat traditional wagyu raised in america? Aka American wagyu? Logic isnt easy for everyone, but you should still try..

      @dannythompson1948 that's not what American wagyu is though. To my knowledge most producers of American wagyu just breed their own cows, and give then a fraction of what japanese cows get in terms of care.

    Man see this why I fell in love with grilling this look good I just ate and my mouth watering back again I just love BBQ always have. I actually bought I Brisket last year that’s been in my freezer I ordered my mother a pellet smoker for us to smoke just seeing how you did this one only makes me more determined to cook one I never did a brisket but hey it’s worth a shot hopefully it comes out like this I’m young so I’ll learn 👍🏾😎

      I put mine on top grill,put pan under it for drippings,300 I don't have 275 when temp.on meat clears 205 you are ready 5 to 6 hour

      I'd gather up the juices, and use a little flour and corn starch to thicken it, make a nice gravy, and toss all the little bits and pieces of brisket in after carving 😋😋😋

      Multiple butchers near me sell wagyu brisket for between 8 to 8 1/2 dollars per pound. You compare that to a Walmart who's selling it for around $7 a pound for USDA choice. It's not that unbelievably expensive.

    I have one on the pellet smoker now. Overnight. While I'm at work. I started it at 11 pm at 195. Checked on it at 3 AM and internally it was already close to 150. I'm concerned. It's 9 pounds I figured 9-10 hours. Dinner is at 3 and this sucker is going to be done wayyyyy too early. Should I put it in the oven to rest or what? It's my first one, lots of pressure. Did I mention I am concerned

    Man may have an accent from the southern region of America a mile wide but damn it my mouth was watering LOL
    Also that's something that never really hit me. The tenderness of the flesh versus actually if it's done. I'm obviously not afraid of undercooked meat but when it comes to smoking it really is an art form.
