I'm a Texan who moved to Montana 20 yrs ago. I live in a condo where only electric smokers/grills are allowed, so I purchased a Traeger at Costco. To get that intense smoke I'm used to [while using a stick burner for 50+ years] I added a smoker tube in my Traeger. All my briskets have come out awesome, but I'm going to try the saran wrap idea the next time! Thanks. I also love your Cow Cover!

Hey, that's the exact question that I have. I have been using pellet grill for over a year now but still cant produce that smokey flavour that stick burner give. Any suggestion on that? I have used Smoking tube, but than again you are filling it up with pellets and the argument is that if pellets were capable to produce intense smoke flavour, they would have done in the normal cook as pellet grills produce tons of smoke but not the intensity.
