I just finished this show yesterday and absolutely loved it. I think it gets a lot of undeserved hate. I’ve seen so many people wanting an exact replica of the cartoon and they get so upset when that’s not what they received. This episode in particular I believe gave aang a big eye opener as to what he truly has to do. Even though bumi isn’t the same carefree constantly laughing character he was in the cartoon he was still a major catalyst for aangs character in my opinion. But that’s just my opinion. To each their own.
The part with the singers in the cave happened almost just like that in the cartoon. They’re just literally traveling musicians that the group meets multiple times for random exposition dumps.
@@Ssjutsuboonies fighting style is tiger and crane hung gar what in the process you learn Snake Kung Fu leopards Paul dragon and praying mantis. It is Southern style Anna's characterized by its lowest Lowe's stance you practice high kicks but you really don't throw them in a real fight for obvious reasons like falling you only practice it so you can have it in your in your rutine
I am so happy I found your reactions to this show. I love that you appreciate it for what it is, instead of expecting a carbon copy of the cartoon! Refreshing!! 😊
Yeah they made a new version of Leaves on the Vine from when Iroh was celebrating his dead sons birthday. It was also sung by the original VA of Iroh who died of cancer shortly after, he knew he was gonna die and that it was likely his last session too. Also liked that they kept the pic of his son as it’s also a pic of the VA when he was young. Kinda wish they showed it more but still great
Glad someone at least understood where Sai was coming from.. it was pretty despicable what he did and what it led up to, but it must be hard to find a way out of helping the Fire Nation without endangering his son and what little freedom they have over in Omashu :/ (shoutout to the 2 underrated performaers in this series too btw-- bothe actors who played Earth Kingdom captain amd Teo! 😊)

Man after seeing a lot of reactors bashing this episode for its differences to the cartoon, your media literacy is a refreshing take
This is why I enjoy my boi he actually appreciate stories and understands from a different prospective
To reiterate... "Perspective"

That’s not a fun fact, that’s you being socially inept and probably why everyone is your life hates you.
