Lets get rolling. The HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10 supports three types of drives: Serial-Attached SCSI (SAS), Serial ATA (SATA), and Solid-State Drives (SSD). SAS drives have supported speed options of 7.2K, 10K and 15K RPM. SATA drives have only one speed option: 7.2K RPM. SSDs can run at speeds of 3GB/s, 6GB/s, or 12GB/s. Please note that in order to achieve a full 12GB/s, your drive must be SAS. SATA drives can only reach 6GB/s. Each type of drive has pros and cons, so it really depends on what your workload will be to determine which type of drive is right for you. SAS drives are costlier, but have a higher capacity for read/write speeds. SATA drives will be more readily available and are more economic. There are small form factor (SFF) and large form factor (LFF) chassis options for the HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10. If you want to use 2.5” drives with a LFF chassis, you will need to utilize a 2.5” to 3.5” drive converter. For 3.5” drives, we’ve been able to install capacities of 16TB for SAS, 16TB for SATA, and 15.36TB for SSDs. SSDs for 3.5” are just a 2.5” SSD drive in an adapter tray. Let us know if you have a higher drive capacity installed in the comments down below!

HI SIR!!! i have some issue on here, can you please help me ?
I just set up an HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10 Server
After I added the second set of hard drives in the front box, there was no power, I tried many methods including the following
    Replace electrical and transmission lines
Box 1 and 2 are reversed, and they are all located in the second set of hard disks without power
That is, there is no problem with the box and hard disk, and there is no problem with the cable
I WOULD LIKE TO ASK YOU IF YOU NEED TO ADD A SECOND SET OF HARD DISKS WHEN INSTALLING THIS MODEL OF HP SERVER, DO YOU NEED TO CHANGE THE SETTINGS IN THE BIOS?

What about NVMe? The latest data sheet / manual (Version 66, Dec 11, 2023) on this server mentions "2NVMe or 8NVMe optional". You could use a PCIe card, but this other/new option seems better? How to go about implementing it?
