azmanabdula in that case, I'd blame the jumper. In every day life, a shooter needs to be careful where they shoot, if they're not, any accident is the shooter's fault. In the video, it was set up by soldiers at war, any injury or death is the fault of those who set it up, but that is one of the goals of war. It is possible for a gun to kill, but I think several factors need to be considered: intent of shooter, cautions taken (or not), and other details. Once all relevant factors are controlled, there are very few true "gun" deaths.
