Thanks for the review, the sound of the mic seems above average for sure. It was nice to include the personal breakfast shot. Since you feel comfortable in front of the camera, you might want to include shots of how IEMs fit you, how much they protrude, etc.

Yes of course the mic connection is mmcx and it’s made to be durable.

may i ask if it fits the qkz x hbb? i have the qkz x hbb Khan but i guess they pretty much have the same shell
The test fit section should have been done with the end of the cable that has the microphone. That's where the fitment issues are.

Big oversight by only trying one side of the cable and not the one with the mic. I don't think it will fit any of the recessed IEMs unless you file it down and make it fit.
You've convinced me Ian, I think that with IEM's that don't have recessed pins the gramr will work best
So this mic is made for 0.78mm 2 pin connection IEMs, I have 0.75mn 2 pin kz zex pro crn's. I dont think it will fit :( But I might just try it anyways.
yup, i think it is going to be a tight fit and may not be good in the long run

Kinera Gramr Modular Microphone Boom Microphone The microphone sounds good but falls out after two light touches, it can only be inserted in one way and that doesn't work so I have to send it back, it's a waste of time.
How about the sound, is it gonna make it brighter or warmer

Too bad it doesn't have any noise rejection, otherwise a really cool odea.
Most applications (if you're not recording raw) have some type of noise cancelling which is more than serviceable. I was thinking of getting these for work, since I generally listen to music on IEMs all day, but I have to swap out to a headset or use a Laravel mic to join meetings, but with this I can just pop the mic in and I'm good to go. And I know Microsoft teams has fantastic built in noise suppression, it literally covered construction work being done in the floor above me.
sadly this cable 2 pin is terrible, does not go in all the way in the right 2pin, i tried almost every iem you have here, it wiggles, etc. and the mic comes off to easily. ... i had high hopes
my mic is pretty snug but I'm there with you on the 2 pin not going in all the way. The left side is fine on my arias but the right doesn't fit well and falls out often
