You can try that on a Yamaha or Honda..
But not on a benelli, you don't want the warranty to get void on an unproven bike like imperiale400.
You dont have to run it in a service center. Take it out on open streches .

this bike is based on the bike which beneli used to sell in the 50's, far older than cd100s...

@@blakshman01 I know, I was highly disappointed too. But as a business strategy they want to gain more and more customers and sell every last unit before bringing the new model, hence they aren't revealing anything yet, as to not affect current sales.

This bike don't have kick start. Are you sure it will not make any problem? means if we lost battery in middle of travelling somewhere we have to push bike and start then. I have taken test ride. one more issue i feel like engine is taking heat in traffic, not more but it was feeling. But overall bike is very smooth and pickup is very nice. i loved suspensions very much.

Took a test ride of this bike pretty gr8 performance but pricing at 2.8 lacs on road and many asking for milage it give between 25 to 27 kmpl

@ 1.69 if it is more refined than classic 350 then its a winner despite the 10 k odd premium. Vibrations in the 350 are just not cool and post 80 kmph its just hurts. What about the "kitna deti hai" ? Benneli? My 350 has a 40 kmpl average.

It's a Benelli, if it's more than 20KMPL I would call it an achievement. Since it doesn't have low end Torque and only has power above 3000RPM
Can we put a windshield to it
have 2000km and had to call road assistance few days ago. Unfortunately, dealership says that they have found an ignition problem. Did anyone had a similar issue ?? I'll keep you posted when I have more info. Besides this I love this bike!!!

I'm actually looking for a motorcycle as an option for my Electra, rather to replace it; since my confidence riding the Electra is significantly lowering. When I did the test ride on this motorcycle it felt like regaining the same confidence I had 7 years back when I got my Electra. I felt only one concern regarding Imperiale that there were much noticeable (and irritating too) vibrations on the tank at the speed of roughly 60 kmph when I test rode this one in the city. Might that be because of the engine tuning the showroom people might have done on the test riding machines?
Brother. I am from Karnataka State. I need a suggestion please. Actually i have a plan to buy a new bike in 350cc or 400cc bike for DIWALI festival. So i have made a filter and i kept THREE bikes in my mind.
1. BENELLI IMPERIALE 400
2. ROYAL ENFILED latest CLASSIC 350 BS6
3. HONDA CB350 HIGHNESS

One point that every review is missing when comparing to the re is that the re model u comparing it against is an outgoing model with the bs6 royal Enfield just few months away and that bike is getting a new engine and so we don't know what the figures and feel of that engine will be , so wait before u compare it to the re

Re needs to deal with rust issues . Also re needs to release a bigger version of the 650 twins . They aren’t that comfortable and changing the seat makes the bike look funny . So they should try making a classic body for it .

They're working on it. But the bike's really good.
Sales service and spare part will be the exact reason for this bikes failure in the near future. Benelli till date has horrific servicing experience and expensive spare parts for bikes which they have launched even years before this. No hopes.

Jawa's Retro looks and performance didn't come anywhere closer to RE bikes, which put me off really.
Now that I found the Benelli as a great challenger to RE and Jawa bikes, I might go for it, provided they offer the following :
Own branded riding gear, Customization including choice of having single, long, wide seat for long rides, bumpy roads
Affordable, reliable Pan India Spares and Services in remote places like Leh, Ladakh, Kashmir etc.
Liquid cooled Engine, matching Jawa bikes to prevent overheating in slow traffic or mountain and long distance highways and roads.
Engine guards, Windshields, Engine and Radiator protection.
BS6 Engine with fuel efficiency
Except liquid cooling this bike has everything
Bs4 or bs6

The problem with this bike is that it has a history in thier respective country where it was manufactured and sold during 1950s or so, but in India it's not having a noticable history which RE has. RE was used majorly by military and cops. which gained it a value. and people could connect to it. jawa could not do much because it's a retro disguised mojo. why we should embrace the history of some other country ? I think the new entries should stick on thier modern looks. they are entering now because india is growing and they want the share of this lucrative chunk. the saying goes well, " in Rome you should be a Roman". these new entries dont have any Indianess in it. Vespa, jawa, Bajaj etc where there since the ages which help people to connect to past. these bike makers are underestimating Indians and try to sell garbage in the name of retro.
