Sweet! 😁
I waiting for next envelopes! 🤪
Regards! 🙃
Thank you! 😃
my interest in stamps started with relatively low value (but nonetheless interesting) singles and souvenir sheets, eventually moving up to 150pc grab bags, and now i’m currently waiting for a 5.5oz grab bag in the mail - can’t wait to see what I find with all the sorting to come. i’ve also found a ton of hungarian stamps in these accumulations lol… love the videos and keep up the good work! 😊❤
That's great! The hunt is quite fun for sure!
Here’s an idea - when sorting you could put the piles in alphabetical order by country name to keep track of where they are on the table. We all have different sorting habits though. I love grab packs and I’ve found them to be a good way to fill in my collection as a beginner. I usually pay around $0.03 (CDN) per stamp that way.
That's one way to do it for sure!
That's how I've been doing it for 60 years...makes it real easy!
Great video! That’s a lot of stamps to go through in that box. Looks like hours of sorting 😁. I’ve always found eBay a bit hit and miss when buying these sorts of packs, but I guess that’s half the fun it. I really enjoyed watching you go through them.
Thanks! That did take a while. I totally agree, eBay bags can be a huge disappointment sometimes but some put a smile on your face. 😋
Now I get it!! I like your thought process Kyle in organization. I have been looking at sorting my own collection in a completely different manner. I’m inspired now to follow your process. If I don’t look at the vast amount and start with just a glassine or two I believe I can make some progress. You’re simply the best my friend and I can’t begin to tell you how much you’re appreciated!
You can do it! It is a labor of love. Pour yourself a nice drink, get comfy and put a little work in bits at a time. These things take a while but eventually you will complete the task :)
I like the way you think! Wine and coziness. I mustn’t forget my vape either lol~ I’ll take a few pics along the way and share ~D
Happy sorting 😁
great video
Ah the "uh...uh....where is it...... guess not.... new pile time" multi pile technique, I know it well ✌🤣
lmao!😆
Always enjoy seeing you work with your stamps, and smile when I try to imagine how many stamps you have. :) Sending a grab bag to yourself! 🤣🤣🤣Thanks for the video. I am a bit late with my comment, but I am still history watching.
haha! :)
I bouht grab bags at the local stamp shop or the 2 for 5c box, but they closed. One Ebay lot was mostly usable USA stamps with "storage wear". The rest of the lot was 1970's/80's used flag stamps in bad condition I had to throw away. If you were looking for those, oops sorry. Another I bought for face value advertised as new. Some were faint cancels, some were soaked off uncancelled. Disappointing.
That's a bummer!
An awful lot of cinderellas in that grab bag, I would have been extremely disappointed paying what you paid!
Shoyptapa is Albania. Ifni was Spanish Colony in n. w. Africa (Morocco).
Thanks!
Hello, my name is Ryan! I am a postcard seller on eBay looking to expand into the world of stamps. I really enjoy ephemera and feel like I should be knowledgeable about stamps to help me sell them and expand. My biggest question: let's say you get a lot of 10k stamps. Is it most profitable to lot them or sell individually? Also I hear there is a very helpful phone app, do you use anything? Thanks so much for your help!! - Ryan
Stamps are a deep dark hole to be able to sell properly. You will need to spend years learning about how to properly grade and identify them... atleast that's how it has been for me. I sell postcards too and they are sooo much easier than stamps. They only sell for 10% of catalog value and it is rare to find a high value stamp, especially if you buy them in bulk because most sellers have already sifted through them, taken the good ones out and then sell the rest as bulk. So, to buy bulk and then sell it as bulk is kind of moot. I guess you would have to upsell to make any money. Honestly if you are after making money I would look into other things... the stamp identifier app from colnect may be what you are talking about.
@Kyle's Stamps Hey Kyle, Thanks so much for your kind reply! That makes sense. I just purchased 3000 stamps from an online estate after reading your response. I paid $20, so I figured that I would use this lot just to learn from and try and understand more about stamps and not to resell. You make great videos on stamps and I enjoy your video style.
@@KylesStampsEvery day I see stamps on eBay that are worth pennies but listed for hundreds or thousands of dollars. Sellers need to learn what they're doing.
You're right. It takes years to learn
Hey Kyle, do you still send out grab bags? To Canada? Let me know!
I am not selling them at this moment, but when they do become available.I'll be sure to let everybody know.
