Nothing like the crackle of cedar hitting the fire and and the fragrance of it burning to pry your eyes open in the morning. Thank you Cap’n for the perfect Midwestern wake up experience this morning. I bet all those fans who don’t own a redbud and Callery pear nursery were cringing when you dug them out. Mine were beautiful this year. The dogwoods and wild plums were spectacular as well. Not gonna be many Pawpaws though. They got hit by the freeze in peak blossom. Now about those interesting camera angles... I almost fainted when you came after me with those big iron jaws!!! Nice work Cap’n.... see you on the next one!
Your right the tree mess is well worth the awesome lively camera shots; never stop being you! I am from Central California in my early 70's ran a backhoe & dump truck etc. Back then excavators had just started arriving on the scene but not many. When I saw your first video I though well another Richie kid born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Does not mater if you were or not. You began to grow on me over the months, you have a superb personality you are one of a kind. Your gleeful attitude springs forth even in bad times, thanks for keeping us entertained. Appreciate you!!! may your prosperity reach goals you never dreamed possible.
Thanks for the video and entertainment. Lots of creative camera shots. You certainly have some pretty country side. I’d love to come be your neighbor but I’m being told it’s not far enough south of CNY, some one else thinks Florida is a perfect destination. I think the view of a big river is better than an ocean. Thanks again for making me laugh this morning. Stay safe, wishing you and your family the best.
Another lovely video, Captain-a great start to my Sunday morning. 'Different strokes for different folks' is what you were trying to think of, I believe.
Fire looks at cedar trees like a glutton looks at a buffet. Those things are so full of oil they go up fast and hot. Pine is almost as bad. Great video Cap. I hope everyone is staying healthy over there.
When you said self-sustaining, you brought back memories of fire training in 1989 memorizing definitions. Combustion (fire) is the self-sustaining process of rapid oxidation, of a fuel being reduced by an oxidizing agent, along with the evolution of heat and light. Some things you never forget. Stay safe brother.
I was never a fan of vague directions, but I would rather have them when I was picking up than dropping off equipment, because when picking up at least you knew when you were there.
You did beautifully,! If i didnt know better, i would think i was watching LD18! Cap’n if thats you driving ,you are doing a FINE job. That pine’s root system was huge!!
This video is very helpful for me. I have a few fields of those redcedars, and after finally learning that they are invasive and of little value, other than for throwing in fence rows for wildlife habitat, I had wondered if I would need a thumb on my backhoe to take them down, but it looks like the roots are really shallow. Now I can't wait till spring! Thanks for making this.
' That a Boy ' , when I worked for Union Pacific Railroad we got Stickers by officials for doing exceptional work . Now Mike won't have to buy stickers for himself . I think your present is AWESOME . Now we'll see how he reacts . Great video . Now I'll have to see his Surprise Birthday Video to see how everyone reacts , I know it'll be a Hoot .
Greetings sir, how are you doing? I waited to watch this until Monday morning, I have the week off !!!!! They left you in charge of the fire duties, good call !!! Great shots with the camera, thankfully the branches broke the fall 🤣 Enjoyed the early morning drive, Ohio looked like a mill pond, and timed it right for the barge drive by !!!
Man, you're lucky. Soft dirt, no rocks, and wimpy little cedars that jump out of the ground when you drive up to them. Y'all need to come on down to Texas! Cedars down here need to be pried out of the ground by getting the corner of a dozer blade under a root and lifting and pushing. We have been overrun by cedars that have formed dense, solid forests, and pushing cedars is a part of life on the ranch. You are right, a skid steer with a grapple bucket is the best way to collect and stack the trees into the burn piles.
Noticed how you were saying wake up to the houses on the river (27-28 min) Lucky they don't come pout and shoot back..... Love the content, now go knock down a few trees....
When you’re out stumbling around a field looking for a D4 just hold the key fob up high and push the lock button. I see people do that after work to find their vehicles because they can’t remember where they parked 9 hours earlier.
Different strikes for different folks is what I think you were trying to say. Lets Dig18, took out both of his windshields on his personal Volvo 220 yesterday 🤦🏼♂️😬. I love the live feeds too Captain. Good luck getting Jerry to slow down long enough to put a camera on the dozer 😂😂. Y’all just needed #MBTS to supervise y’all 😂😂😂
@@CaptainKleeman No he didn’t get hurt, other than his pride he said. Later on in the video he was crunching a tree and had a piece of wood shoot right back to the left hand side of the cab. Chris said he knows a lot of people will say he needs a guard over his windshield but he doesn’t like looking thru guards.
You have to go to his channel in two months 😂😂😂 I'll forget about this video and itll be like, well this is dejavu cause something seems familiar here 😂🤷♂️

No sharks in the river! That’s always a plus
have a great day, forget the reflector, you definitely have had "seat time" in the lowboy, nice backup job and driving on those narrow roads
Thanks for the kind words

Thank you! And appreciate you always leaving a comment
Nice to see the redbud and dogwood blooming, stay safe folks. Go to D.P. And wait.
Always fun to watch Captain Burn Perfect 18.
Add a fuel siphon to the trailer toolbox. That way when the truck tank starts getting low you can "borrow" fuel from the equipment LOL
No! Never would we ever 😉
Good day captain great commentary and footage as always. Stay blessed and chive on
You as well sir!

Looks like that field was once used to grow nursery cedar stock for landscaping.
I think a chipper to make mulch for soil improvement would be a cool build project.

Hey thanks!
If you look in the store room at work, off to the right because you always hang to the right there is a Scott 2A that Breath Perfect can use.
Maybe we can come up with cascade system for the dozer!
You could panel the inside of your cab with cedar. Add a nice homey touch and keep moths away. 😆
You are my hero
That big cedar looked like it exploded from the inside. Lol. And yes, the different camera angles are worth it:)
Thanks for the feedback!
Good morning from Detroit

seen the Andrew camarata bee spray at the intro.. just a lol..
Not sure what that means but thanks!
Great camera spot, but i wonder how much time to find them when they fall ! 😁😁😁
If we notice, not long at all! 😂
