Makes you think of Jimmy Page footage from the early days with the sweater vest. His arms looked like they went halfway from knee to ankle!
Just not the same without the rectifier. Why he switch to Orange amps?
just my educated guess, firstly, it is an endorsement, also at this point Ty is not chasing the perfect sound anymore (much like eric johnson imo), I have seen interviews where Ty has said the the acoustic modeling of new amps/setups lets him get pretty much what he wants sound wise regardless of the equip. I get your point, I love the old tone (Gretch), I also love the dogman sound through those mesas... but to me, I am at the same point as ty... I don't analyze it anymore, it sounds fine to me. just my 2 cents...
He’s been using Orange amps for years. Personally I think the Orange sounds better🤘🏻
