I think that the point of the rain drop cake is that is clear, without it being clear, you just have jello. Molly's idea is good, but it misses the mark. I am pretty sure she could have found some clear ish flavors to add to it if that was the goal. I have seen some with pickled cherry blossoms or something pretty would have been nice.

She should have at least made two versions...one that is clear like a real raindrop should have been her first creation and this peanut butter and jelly on a bread-flavored jello mold could have been second. No shade, but I feel like Claire would have made sure her raindrop cake was at least clear, probably colorless too. I feel that Molly did not achieve the full goal of the project.

@@sgl0d10n They ARE an exact measurement when measuring water. Flour, sugar etc, which can take on weight dependent on humidity levels, do vary, but water doesn't. Don't see a problem here. It's really quick and easy to measure out volume in cups when it comes to water.
