Needed to hear this song tonight 💫 Despite having a job I should love, living in a beautiful place, finishing my degree at the end of last year, I’ve felt more afraid, isolated and lost than ever lately. Reminder to open to that sense of lightness that makes everything inextricably okay for even a few minutes while the song plays, a release from the things that feel unbearably heavy.

I traveled globally for free, worked just 10 hours a week, was highly praised, and earned more than ever before, it was undoubtedly the BEST time of my life.
Recently, I was fired without reason or warning. My emails go unanswered so I've had to come to terms with the fact that I don't have a voice in the situation, and I'm not being granted the power to change it. I'm beyond shattered, hopeless, confused, and lost. Hearing a reminder that in handing things over to time it will allow for other doors will open from an artist on A BOAT at SEA was a profound moment of healing for me.
Like the sun slowly rising and ever so slowly making it's self seen in the far away yonder, the anticipation is mounting as each second, minute and hour passes by to the moment of awakening comes ! 🌅🇨🇦☮️🎶

Beautiful Julia ! Love you and your brother's music for a long time now. Was lucky to see you both at Enmore Theatre more than a decade ago. Love that this song was premiered on Jan 29th : ) It was my beautiful baby Lucy 1 year old ( funnily enough she went through my drawers the other day and grab a cd album and the disc fell out - it was your " down the way " limited edition...i was like noooo : ).
